The event started with the open ceremony. It was colorful with the effect of
light. Then, there were also got 1Malaysia dance. It was very interesting not just
Malaysian attracted to these performance but also the tourists like this
performance. After that, the Prime Minister of Malaysia gave meaningful speech
special for the event. The celebration was quite unique compared to previously
as the first ever held in the stadium by using light and scanning the floor for
1Malaysia message to the audience.
The human graphic made by students of Institut Pendidikan Guru was the
best performance throughout the event. Everybody in the stadium always looked
at the human graphic and the audience were really enjoyed that performance.
The human graphic created a lot of words made by people. It was really
interesting and enjoyable.
About 15,000 people flooded the Putra Stadium to enliven the celebration
that is based 1Malaysia. Celebration in the stadium more convenient and
controlled from outside, as it fell in the month of Ramadan. 1Malaysia message
through the art of illumination can also be clearly highlighted, but also offering a
longer time with more accurate filling. This presentation was creative as many of
the elements of lighting, sound and the use of lasers to clear all the messages
contained in all segments of the show.
At 11.50 pm, The Prime Minister was ready to shout the magic word
“Merdeka”. While waiting at 12 am, the stadium was full of patriotic songs. The
audience sang that songs together with Prime Minister. At 12 am, The Prime
Minister shouted the magic word “Merdeka” for seven times. After that, Prime
Minister together with audience sang Negaraku. The event that night ended at
1.00 am.
The event continues the next morning started at 8 am. Prime Minister
gave some speech. It was very meaningful. After that, uniformed scout showed
marching performance to the audience.
Independence Day celebration ended at 12 pm. The event ended with the
singing of the song “Negaraku”.
