The National Day Spirit

The Student Representative Council of Ungku Omar Premium

Polytechnic has hosted The National Day Spirit that took place on 3 rd
September 2020, from 2:00 p.m. until

5:30 p.m. , at Jublin Perak Hall.

The aim of this program were to celebrate the National Day that was
held on 31st August 2020 . For this year, it was special than the last
few years due to the pandemic that was going around the whole
world , so that means this year will not going to celebrate as usual .
On the this Program , we were require to follow the Standard
Operating Special (S.O.P.) for the whole event ,that include wearing
mask , sanitize our hand and keeping our social distance.

On 3rd September 2020, there was around 250 Sem 1 and Sem 2
student from every department were involved in this program. On 2:00
p.m. , all student were allowed to get into the Jublin Perak Hall by
following S.O.P. ,every student will have a small flag before entering
the hall. Around 2:10p.m. , every student were in the hall . After 10
minutes , the student in-charge of this program were require us to do
a rehearsal before starting the program. This rehearsal used around 20
minutes to completed.

On 3:00 p.m. , the V.I.P. guests has arrived. When the guests get into
the hall, we were singing “Tangga 31” and waved our flag to welcome
our guests. The program were started by singing National Anthem ,
State Anthem Of Perak and Ungku Omar Premium Polytechnic Anthem.
After that , the Director of Ungku Omar Premium Polytechnic , Ts . Haji
Mohd Fisal Bin Haroon . The program continued with a contribution
from Bank Islam, independence shout from the director of Ungku Omar
Premier Polytechnic to officiate the program .

The program continued with singing 2 patriotic song , “Jalur

Gemilang” and “Kerana Mu” and sang it proudly and loudly. After sang
the song, we got a big clapped from the Guests and the Student in-
charge of this program.

Than ,the V.I.P. guests were leaving the hall, we continued our
program with some pop quiz about our country. We using an apps call
Kahoot to answer the quiz. This was challenging due to having more
than 200 student participate this competition and just top 10 student
will having the prizes. In this competition , every student were trying
to answer correctly to get more marks and to push their rank to the
top. After finish the quiz , we were exited for the results. Lucky for our
department ,we have 3 student on the top 10th place.

The program was ended with the filming session with the student in-
charge of the program .Than, we have been request by the student in-
charge to arrange the chair and return the flag to them.On 5:30 p.m. ,
we were allowed to go back to our hostel.
