Description of Event / Write up: The most awaited event, fresher’s party under the name of
‘Esperanza 2021’ was organized for B.Tech. first year students of Electrical, Electronic and
communication, Mechanical and Civil Engineering by the second-year students of Faculty of
Engineering at lecture theater -5 in college premises. The program started with lamp lightening
ceremony in front of goddess Saraswati.

All the students presented their performance very actively and participated with full enthusiasm.
Singing, dancing, talent hunt and ramp walk were the most liked performances by all present there.
Shivam and Muskan, first year students performed solo dances while Sidhant Jain sang a melodious
song. Mohd Maaz mesmerized everyone through his English song while Vivek and Mohd Shad
recited shayari in wonderful way.

Mohd Maaz from B.Tech Civil Engineering and Muskan from Electrical Engineering were selected
and awarded with the title of Mr Fresher and Miss Fresher respectively. Dr Garmia Goswami, HOD
Electrical Engineering, Mr Umesh Kumar Singh, Coordinator of B.Tech First year and Mr Rahul
Vishnoi Proctor of FOE graced the event as the jury members.

Prof R K Dwivedi, Principal of FOE&CS appreciated the event and conveyed his best wishes to all
the fresher. Prof Dwivedi motivated them and reminded the whole sole objective of FOE&CS i.e.
carrier oriented education. He elaborated all career opportunities in each branch of engineering and
encouraged the students to remain aware of these one and keep updated themselves with the time.

Mr Umesh Kumar Singh, Coordinator of B.Tech First year delivered vote of thanks to all for
making the event delighted and successful. The program was anchored by Mr Deepak Jain and Mr
Kartikey Singhal, the students of B.Tech. Dr Vipin Kumar, Dr. Vikram Raina, Mr A K Pepersenia,
Mr Harish Kumar, Dr Ajay Upadhyay, Mr Raghvendra, Mr Amit Singh and Dr Sandeep Verma
graced the event. The program was well coordinated by Mr Umesh Kumar Singh along with
B.Tech II year students.
