A Narrative Report on the Joint Delivery Voucher Program Orientation

The Joint Delivery Voucher Program Orientation for the Senior High School
students was indeed a very successful one. The orientation started with smiling faces
shown by each participant. This is a manifestation that the Senior High School students,
parents, and teachers are willing and ever ready to embrace the mission tasked by God;
and that is to implement fully the Joint Delivery Voucher Program with their minds,
hearts, and souls. The event started on October 28, 2021 in the morning via Zoom
meeting. Teachers, parents, and students from the different schools in the Division of
Marikina City were made to register before the start of the sessions. When everything
was set, the time to formally start began, the opening program was started with a
nationalistic song, followed by the prayer led by AVP, Ms. Ma. Lourdes A. Oreza, the
master of ceremony of the said event. Ms. Sarah M. Flores, the Asst. Principal-SNNHS
gave her opening remarks and she emphasized that SHS students must learn, unlearn
and relearn the skills needed to produce twenty-first century learners. Mr. Benedicto M.
Tabilas, OIC-Assistant Principal-SRNHS, gave the statement of purpose of Joint Delivery
Voucher Program. He really inspired students and parents how they are blessed to be
part of this program. They will be developed with adequate knowledge and skills that
will be readily translate into performance. Ms. Imelda D. Zapanta, Senior High School
and ICT Coordinator-JDNHS, discussed about the guidelines on the implementation of

the Joint Delivery Voucher Program for SHS-TVL specialization for School year 2021-
2022. She introduced the process of JDVP and she further emphasized on some
important issues regarding the program. After that, break out session followed. The
students proceed to the different break out rooms by specialization together with TVI
partners, who discussed the process of training, the materials, and tools needed during
training. Everyone enjoyed much the orientation. As we went through with this
orientation, we were enriched and enlightened with the new insights and concepts that
were needed to achieve the Goal of the Joint Delivery Voucher Program and that is to
become the multitude 21st Century learners . They will be the hope of the future
generation that could help our department, the Department of Education, to be the
topmost agency in our country and make our country progressive, globally competitive
and at par with other countries. We would like to thank also the TVI partner, Academy
Asia for reaching out to the young minds and extending efforts to make all these
possible. Mr. Amado Pebres- OIC Assistant Principal KNHS gave his closing remarks. He
highlighted the importance of honing the skills even if the situation is different and
challenging. The training ended with a simple closing program, but with full baggage of
learning on the part of the SHS students as well as the trainers.
