step is to couple this with the benefits of a pallet hand-
ling system. This step optimizes the interface between
SRM and materials handling, for example. Transferring
different unit loads with their different requirements
can now be carried out even more efficiently.
The DAMBACH COMPACT SHUTTLE system can be
integrated into our pallet handling technology as a
warehouse apron component. In this arrangement the
shuttle, together with a transfer wagon, is ­responsible
for transverse transport and providing loads. Our
transfer wagon is based on the innovative DAMBACH
shuttle technology, which stores energy in power caps
and thus makes conductor rails unnecessary.
In the MULTIFLEX pallet shuttle system, DAMBACH
materials handling elements ensure reliable material
flows at high throughput rates.

Chain transfer units can be fitted at transfer points to
handle unit loads with special demands. Mesh box and
single-trip pallets can therefore be transported safely.
Our roller lift tables and turntables are ­designed for
high throughputs at intersections. Efficient ­traversers
can be included for transverse distribution and
for linking accumulation conveyors. Zero pressure
­accumulation roller conveyors can be used where slug
or block release is required. Lifting heights of up to
45 m are possible with our vertical conveyors in their
various configurations.

Standard, basic elements are therefore used in our
systems wherever possible, irrespective of the type
of conveyor. The low number of different components
simplifies maintenance and stocking of spare parts.
The side rails of our conveyors are our own devel­
opment: multifunctional, perforated steel sections
that enable components to be mounted at any
point. In addition, other items such as guide rails,
photo­electric sensors or support legs can be added
or repositioned at a later date. The steel side rails
­guarantee a long service life and function reliably
with loads of up to 1500 kg. All main components
have a high-quality galvanized finish.
