ABC DATA SHEET

Definition of Episode of Problem Behavior 🡪 The onset of problem behavior followed by a full 15 seconds after the behavior(s) has ceased.
Directions: For each episode of problem behavior (i.e., Ear covering → placing hands over ears for longer than 5 seconds, Head/eye diverting → turning head to the
side and/or covering eyes, and Inappropriate response → Not responding to someone or responding while walking away when someone attempts a direct interact) check
or note the setting the behavior , check or note what happened immediately before the behavior was emitted (i.e., antecedent), check or note ALL behaviors that are
emitted, and check or note how you responded to the behavior. Time the whole episode from start to finish and note at the bottom if longer than 1 min.
