Learning Objective/Outcome(s):

 The techniques are changing very fast, so in order to keep pace with
them it is important that the imaging technologist attend different
seminars, symposiums and make presentations on recent developments in
techniques, medicals software’s and technologies.

 At the end of course they will have complete knowledge of imaging


science they can start their career as Tech. Right now the imaging science
is growing day by day and there is a lack of knowledgeable people, so this
course can create the good candidates who will be the great help of the
health industry

 This is required because after completion of this course if they are working
as CT/MRI/Cath Lab technologist they should know about the old, present,
and recent developing technologies, tools and techniques

Pre-learning:

Knowledge of imaging modalities like X-rays, CT, MRI, USG.

1 Seminars: Students will be given one topic in advance on 15 hrs


which he/she will have to give a presentation. They
can use any method to give a presentation for
around 45 minutes. Last 15 minutes are question
answer time when other students and teachers
present can ask questions. Topics will be of any
subject studied by them in the first two years.

2 Presentatio To discuss and explain about any new development 15 hrs


n by Group: in radiology guided by faculty.

There can be presentations by Visiting / Guest


Faculty also, on latest developments and interesting
Topics related to medical imaging.
