1.Discuss the good citizenship values.

-There are many benefits to society if more good citizens are about. Firstly, it makes generally a positive society,
good citizens make our society a better place by improving the environment that they live in. This provides
everyone with a sense of community to an area and a sense of pride and responsibility for the are they live in. By
doing very simple tasks for example, picking up litter, holding rubbish until finding a bin and picking up their dogs
waste they ensure that their area is well maintained and presentable. Also, this stops the need for the council to
spend money to get someone out there to clean it all up. This also shows a good role model for the younger
generations, so they keep it up to.
2.Identify some basic Filipino values.
-Family orientation.
Joy and humour.
Faith and religiosity.
Ability to survive.
Hard work and industriousness.
Hospitality.

3.Cite situations which Filipino values are depicted.

-On family gatherings, you can see filipino's are well oriented to their members and another example on that
instance is being respectful to the elderlies, children were thought to say "po, opo and mano po" which shows
respect and close to family ties

Relevance to the Society/ Oneself

Below are pictures from different activities which both government and non-government organizations are engaging for the welfare of the
people.

1. What do you observe in the photo above?

-people with unity and are helping each other for everybody's sake

2. How do you feel as you look at the photos? Why do you say so?
-I feel each filipino's warmth towards the community they are part of, it fills me with happiness just by simply knowing they
do it for the betterment. I always wish people take care of one another as well as for the environment's

3. How are the in the volunteers in the photos, shows citizenship? If you were in the position of the volunteers in the photos, would you do
the same?

-by just volunteering, helping, having patriotism and not violating any violations shows good citizenship. I would do the same for the country
I'm citizenship with, it won't only benefit me but also for the community I belong to

4. After a very keen observation of the photos above, why do you think good citizenship values must be taught to students?

- to make them not get involved in any trouble, especially related to laws everyone should be obeying. if one shows care and
has good citizenship it means that not only doing it for the place they are living in but for the entire country and would make it a
better place
