was born on September 16, 2001 at Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur. I am 18 years old, turning 19
this coming September 16 and currently residing at San Antonio Narvacan Ilocos Sur. I am an
introvert, creative and an inquisitive person. I took up my Senior High School under the strand
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) at Narvacan Catholic School
where I also took up my elementary and secondary education. As for my hobbies or interests, I
love reading books more than anything because here, I can learn new things and develop more of
my skills. I’m also fond of watching science fiction movies, Kdramas and unsolved mysteries on
you tube. Besides reading books , I also love playing badminton, painting, and drawing.
As for my family, My mother’s name is Susan C. Magan, a teacher at Nagsayaoan
Elementary School. My father’s name is Randy E. Magan, a farmer. We are five siblings in the
family, namely; Sandie, Shiela May, Sandra Angelika, and Rachelle Ann. I am the fourth child.

Why did you choose this course?

Apart from BSMLS/med tech as one of the courses in line with my STRAND, Stem, I chose
BSMLS as my course because it is the best preparatory course for medicine (as most of the
subjects in BSMLS are similar in Medicine) and it is directly related to my interest to become a
doctor. Another reason as why I chose BSMLS as my course in college is that, since when I was
kid, my young wondering mind brought me to the idea of ‘pretend play’ with my childhood
friends, me as a medtech and them as my patient. I chose this course because I was influenced by
it since I was young. Lastly, As I always dreamt of being one of the people who play a vital role
in the community, as what I mentioned earlier, I chose BSMLS because I want to be a Doctor. It
may sound cliché but I want to be a Doctor not because I want other people to see me wearing a
white coat and stethoscope around my neck, but a person who is compassionate to help other
people who are sick and suffering from various ailments. I want to see myself in the future in
times of this kind of crisis we are experiencing right now giving people a helping hand to help
them cure their diseases, give them hope, and see in their eyes the happiness and gratitude.
That’s why I want to become such a life guard to give people happiness.

Why did you choose UNP?

I chose UNP not because it is the nearest university from my home town but because this school
played a big role in the lives of my parents, sibling and relatives to achieve their dreams careers
in life. Also I chose UNP because I know that this school would give their students quality
education, help them develop their skills and capabilities in a holistic approach and lastly, I know
that this school would their students to be always ready and equipped until they finish their
journey as UNPians.
