Prepositions with dates


When we talk about days, we say ON ___________.
on Monday
on Saturday
Our classes are on _________________.
We go to the cinema on ______________.

We can also say every Monday or Mondays. It means every Monday or usually on Monday.
Notice that with “every” we don’t use “on”.

We can give complete dates in two ways:

Notice how we say the years before 2000.

They are easier that way.
