Prerequisites
Prior to integration, verify that OnGuard server and OnGuard clients are configured and working normally.
Also verify that the Milestone Management Server, Milestone Recording servers and cameras are installed,
configured and working normally. Refer to the user manuals and documentation for OnGuard and Milestone
XProtect® Corporate for a comprehensive description of the installation, configuration and features of the
respective systems.

Download and expand required software

The files are compressed in a single .zip file.
 
 

1. Navigate a browser to download.milestonesys.com/LenelACM/.

2. Download Milestone-v2016-OnGuard-v7_2_269-Integration-v2_0_17220_02.zip.

3. Expand the zip file.

 
Configure a single sign-on account in Lenel System Administration
On the Lenel OnGuard server:

1. Open Lenel System Administration.

2. Add a directory.
3. Designate it as single sign-on.

4. Add a user.
5. Link the user to the directory.
6. Grant access rights for the user.

Install .NET, Milestone ACM Server, and Lenel OnGuard ACM Server
Plugin
Install on the Lenel OnGuard server.

1. Double-click dotnetfx45_full_x86_x64.exe.
2. Double-click Milestone.ACMServer.x86.msi.

3. Double-click Milestone.ACMServer.LenelOnGuard.msi.

Install Milestone ACM Server MIP Plugin and run the ACM Wizard
Install on the Milestone Management server.

1. Double-click Milestone.ACMServer.MipPlugin.
2. Search for ACM Server Wizard.
3. Run the ACM Server Configuration Wizard.

4. Enter the IP address of the Lenel OnGuard server.

Configure Access Control in the XProtect Management Client

Add the Lenel ACM integration.

1. Open the Management Client.

2. Create a new Access Control.

3. Associate cameras with access control points.

Define an alarm
Define what happens when access control events occur.
 
1. Create a new alarm.
2. Pick a triggering event.
3. Select a related map.
4. Save the alarm.

Use the ACM integration in the Smart Client

Tasks for operators.
 
1. Open an alarm.
2. Respond to the alarm.
3. View and filter access control events.
