Duties and Responsibilities of the CoRE Team

1. Camp Director (Parents Track)

Letters to Children Lead
Family Huddle Lead

Administrative Team
The needs of each of the 4 simultaneous and unique teaching tracks
shall come in waves. Sometimes, all at the same time. To meet this
need, the Camp Director with the Administrative Team shall have to take
ownership of one particular track each. This distribution of labor also
allows each function to have some down time for the Lead.
A dynamic relationship is required for this team. They will have to come
together every now and then to reassess the temperature of the Camp
and discuss special concerns.

5. Prefects
This select group of Teenagers usually are the top graduates from the
first day. They will receive instructions and guidance from the Head
Prefect. It requires a trait that can handle the delicate balance
between pastoral caring and leading.

Service Team
If all the preparation and coordination have been executed well before
the weekend of the camp, this team (as opposed to the Administrative
Team) can go on “Cruise Control” throughout the whole duration.

Auxilliary Team
Led by the Head Marshall or Camp Director, this team addresses
activities that are very task specific and time-bound. Most of these tasks
are best performed by members of the Administrative Team (especially
for groups with less than 12 family participants). Some are best
performed by people outside the CoRE team. Some can be performed by
1 person and others will require “tag-teams” and shiftings.
