1. What is the importance of each non-state institution to our country? Answer the question
by completing the unfinished statements below.
a. Banks allow us to keep our money, avail different kinds of loan, and exchange
currencies.
b. Corporations gives us the chance to have a job opportunities in the country and
thus lessen the poverty.
c. Trade Unions help workers to raise issues to the management that sometimes
ends up with work "stoppage" or strike to protect the labor force of the country
until the demands of management and workers met.
d. Cooperatives can make cheaper goods and services for us to have an easy, safe,
and affordable access to commodities, loans, and other services.
2. Are these non-state institutions connected to the government? If yes, how? If no, why
not?
Ans: No. Non-state institutions are groups and organizations which operate outside the
support of any state or government. They are referred to be 'stateless' since they are
considered to be independent of any state, although, they usually collaborate with the
government in implementing projects.
