ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN
I.Introduction

Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets.
Cyberbullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming
where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or
sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or
private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyberbullying
crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behavior.

II.Purpose

Why deserve to be sponsored by victims of Cyber bullying?

Cyberbullying can cause debilitating fear, destruction of self-esteem, social isolation, poor academic
performance. It can also lead to difficulty in forming healthy relationships and most importantly, victims
can develop severe symptoms of post-traumatic stress, anxiety and depression.

III.Description

This project is about to those who should be helped by cyber bullying victims Emotional Effects of
Cyberbullying

Not surprisingly, cyberbullying is a significant stressor in a young person's life. In fact, research shows
that 32% of kids who are targets of cyberbullying report experiencing at least one symptom of stress.1
In addition to feeling distressed, they also may feel embarrassed, hurt, and even fear for their safety.
They may even blame themselves for the cyberbullying.

Your child may feel a range of emotions if they are the target of a cyberbully. Here are some common
feelings and emotions that cyberbullied teens and tweens may experience.
When cyberbullying is ongoing, victims often relate to the world around them differently than others.
For many, life can feel hopeless and meaningless. They lose interest in things they once enjoyed and
spend less time interacting with family and friends. And, in some cases, depression and thoughts of
suicide can set in. Here is a closer look at the mental effects of cyberbullying.

Victims of cyberbullying often succumb to anxiety, depression, and other stress-related conditions.2 The
added stress of coping with cyberbullying on a regular basis steals their feelings of happiness and
contentment. It also increases worry and isolates them from their peers.

Research has consistently supported the notion that increasing levels of cyberbullying lead to higher
levels of depression. In fact, one study found that 93% of those victimized by cyberbullying reported
feelings of sadness, powerlessness, and hopelessness.

Cyberbullying often attacks victims where they're most vulnerable. Targets of bullying may feel intense
dissatisfaction with who they are. As a result, they often begin to doubt their worth and value and may
struggle with low self-esteem.

Sometimes targets of cyberbullying respond to their intense feelings by harming themselves in some
way. For instance, some will engage in self-harm such as cutting or burning themselves. In fact, research
has consistently linked bullying and self-harm.

Kids being victimized by cyberbullying may lose interest in school. As a result, they often have much
higher rates of absenteeism than non-bullied kids. They skip school to avoid facing the kids bullying
them or because they are embarrassed and humiliated by the messages that were shared.

Cyberbullying increases the risk of suicide. Kids that are constantly tormented by peers through text
messages, instant messaging, social media, and other outlets, often begin to feel hopeless.

Being targeted by cyberbullies is crushing, especially if a lot of kids are participating in the bullying. It can
feel at times like the entire world knows what it is going on. Sometimes the stress of dealing with
cyberbullying can cause kids to feel like the situation is more than they can handle.

Gastrointestinal issues, Disordered eating, and Sleep disturbances.

those are just some of the effects of cyber bullying on children or adults. That's why it is necessary to
help those who are experiencing cyber bullying.
