Mexican Waiver Awards are made to eligible students on a first-come, first-served basis until all Citizens of Mexico
available Mexican Waivers are awarded.
• New students should apply for the Mexican Waiver when they submit their UNT
application packet.
• Continuing students should apply by July 1 for the next academic year. Submit a
UNT transcript.
• The final deadline for Mexican Waiver applications is 12 noon of the last day of
regular registration each semester. If awards are available, they will be made at
that time.

Board of Regents Scholarship These scholarships are for outstanding entering freshmen who rank in the top Entering freshmen
10% of their high school graduating class AND who score at least a 1200 on the
SAT or 27 on the ACT (Written test portion excluded).
No application is necessary. All eligible students are identified through their
completed Admissions file. Please ensure all transcripts and test scores are
updated in Admissions as soon as possible. Priority consideration will be given to
the earliest applications due to limited funding.
