I. Product Introduction

1.1 Product specification
KS300ANT sliding door operator adopts modular design, include drive motor, control unit, PSA and other
independent optional modular based on customer requests.

1. 4 Security
Once the sliding door is applied, the Max. opening and closing speeds are adjusted depending on the wing
weight. The entire security device has to be checked to ensure the reliability.

1. 5 Introduction of Manual

The manual offers instructions for the installation, adjustment, maintenance and troubleshooting of
KS300ANT.

The manual is just for professional persons from metal construction and electronic technology.

The manual includes the instruction of main components and all specifications of KS300ANT.

The instruction for the various installation devices of the KS300ANT sliding door will deliver to the user
together with parts.

Use the following signs as important mark of certain dangers and significant explanations.

II. Basic installation


2.1 Installation of supporting profile
2.1.1 Installation type

Attention:It is suggested the supporting profile installed on the girder


(steel structure) of the building.

2.1.2 Installation of supporting profile

1、The install position of the supporting profile is determined by the closing edge (CE).
A:Bi-Parting sliding door

B:Single sliding door


he assembling of right-side opening (it is the opposite, if opens from the left side)

2、Fasten the supporting profile


The following description is installation example for Bi-Parting sliding door systems. It describes the
installation process of supporting profile. Other types of systems are installed as the same on CE basis. Take

installation type A and type B as example:
(1)Mark out the closing point CE on the supporting profile. Place the supporting profile on the floor,
adjust the levelness with gradient and mark out the water level line UK. Mark X on the wall

Attention: Floor matt, carpets should be taken into consideration, use


relative height, level allowance 1mm per meter

UK ---The bottom edge of the supporting profile should be parallel with the flat floor.
LH--- Clear masonry heigh

(2)Mark out the line L according to the following data: L: Center line of fixing holes。
(3)Draw the bottom edge of the supporting profile.
(4)For installation type A:Drill two mounting holes for M8 on centerline, each hole to center point
is
150mm, and fix auxiliary beam by screws temporarily.
For installation type B: Drill a mounting hole for M8 at center point, and fix the supporting profile
by screw temporarily, adjust the levelness by thin washers.

Attention: The tolerance of supporting profile


installation surface should be less than 2mm.

(5)Drill other holes


(6)Assemble other fixing screws.
(7) Installation type A: Hang the supporting profile to the auxiliary profile and fix a screw M8x20

and a washer every 400mm.

III. Parts installation

Take bi-part door for example:


1、Fix the wiper brush on the outer end of carriage set with screw M6X6 and washer。
Insert the carriage wheel into the supporting profile from the side. If the lateral space is
2、insufficient, loose the screw, and rotate the carriage wheel to the right position from the front。

3. 2 Installation of carriage wheels to door leaf


A)Bi-part sliding doors
1、Slide the square nuts to the top transom of sliding leaf。
2、Push the two sliding leaves to closing position and ensure the closing line coincide with CE line.。

Attention:The closing pressure applied on the sliding wings must not exceed 80N。

3、Ensure the stop blocks must touch at the closing point CE after the door is close。

注意:Attention: when there is electro-mechanical lock, the block should be at the


center of lock assembly。

4、Assemble the internal carriage wheel to door leaf and fix the wheel temporarily。
5、Adjust the door leaf verticality based on sealing strip; fasten the carriage wheels to door leaf.。
6、Push the door leaf to opening position and fix stop block temporarily。
7、Adjust the passage width and fix the door leaf temporarily.
8、Push stop block to the block of carriage wheel and fix the stop block tightly。
B)Single sliding door
1.Put the door leaf on the track and slide the block of carriage wheels to transom of door leaf.。
2.Install blocks。

3.Push the door leaf to closing position and ensure the closing line and CE line coincide。
4.Push the carriage wheels and ensure the stop block touch block of carriage wheel。

Attention: The closing pressure applied on the sliding wings must not exceed 80N

5.Install the carriage wheels to the door leaf and fix the wheels temporarily。
6.Adjust the door leaf verticality based on sealing strip; fasten the carriage wheels to door leaf。
7.Push the door leaf to opening position and fix stop block temporarily。
8.Adjust the passage width and fix the door leaf temporarily。
9.Push stop block to the block of carriage wheel and fix the stop block tightly。

3.3 Installation of drive unit

1. Insert square nuts into T groove。
2. Fasten the drive unit on the supporting profile with inner hexagon screws and washer. Do not fix the screws
until adjusting first。

Note: All the connections to supporting profile are square nut M6, inner hex screw M6*12flat washer
φ 6 and internal tooth lock washerφ 6.
3.4 Installation of idle wheel

1、Idle wheel installation position refer to above figure。
2、 Insert square nuts into T groove。
3、Pre-fix the idle wheel on the supporting profile with inner hexagon screw and washer。

Attention: The final insallation of the reverse wheel should be after the installation of the
toothed belt。

3.5 Installation of toothed belt
1.Cut the toothed belt as per design drawings. If the open door width exceeds 2 meters, the length of the belt
should be calculated as L=2xW (door open width) + 1000。
3.5.1 Installation of belt clamps
The final installation of the reverse wheel should be after the installation of the toothed belt。
A)Bi-part doors

注意:Attention: Assemble the belt clamps on the belt first。

1.Fasten the belt clamps to the carriage wheels byM6x10, flat washer and spring washers。

Attention: Pay attention to the installation position of belt clamp!

B)Single sliding door


Remark: Assemble the belt clamps on the belt first(Refer to “Toothed belt installation”)。
3.5.2 Toothed belt installation
1.Loosen the fasten screws slightly。
2.Insert 3 teeth of the belt each ends (21) into belt clamp (22)。
3.Tighten the screw (20)。
4.Place the toothed belt onto the drive wheel and the reverse wheel.。
3.5.3 Adjust toothed belt tension
1.Push the reverse wheel outwards until toothed belt lies flat. Tighten the screws。

2.Knock the reverse wheel with a hammer until the toothed belt has the following tension.:

Attention: The tension of the belt should be appropriate. Insufficient or excessive tension
will increase the wear and cause noise during the operation。

3.5.4 Adjusting the door center


1、The belt clamp (9) must not be tightened when adjusting。
Push the door wings (24) until the A is equal to B. If adjusting is insufficient, check the belt。

3、Fasten the belt clamp

Attention: Check the door opening stop blocks. The wings must touch the blocks
when the door is open. For right sliding door, soft switch 6 should be ON。

3.5.5 Adjustment of door leaf parallelism。


1.Loose the screws on carriage wheels。
2.Adjust the sliding leaf on vertical direction by the adjusting bolt。

Note: The supporting profile can be lift up 12mm to adjust drive unit height。

3.Fasten the screw。

3. 6 Installation of control unit
Attention:
If the system is equipped with locking parts or battery backup, they must be installed before installing
the contro。

1. Insert square nuts in “T” groove。
2. Fix the control unit (25) onto the supporting profile with inner hexagon screws and washer. Tighten the
screws。

3.7 Installation of control panel program switch


The location of control panel is determined by the actual installation project. The position of cable box
and connecting cable are depended on the users’ demands. See Chapter five for specific operations.

Attention:
Max length of the cable is 20m. A blind plug must be used。

IV. Adjustment
4.1 Preparation before operation
⚫ All basic components and optional parts of KS300ANT have been fixed and arranged. All the cable
connection is completed.。
Attention:
If there is no photocell (LS), the corresponding terminals must be short-circuited
according to the diagram of control unit
⚫ The optional control and safety parts are installed as requirement and the cable connection is
finished。
4.2 Electrical Settings
The running distance are set automatically,during the initializing (reset) process of drive unit. No
preliminary settings are need before the first
application (the stop block must be installed base on the requirement).。

Electrical Settings:

The initializing procedure is implemented when the drive unit is put into use
for the first time or after a reset。
⚫ During the first operation, all the values on the second level are reset to standard。
⚫ If the door has been in operation process, reset can be made by Reset switch (PN-30=1 and PN-31=1)
⚫ Test all the hardware of the control unit
⚫ Check all the connected components (program switch, electro-mechanical lock, battery board)。
⚫ The door closes to the closing position with a set-up speed 0.08m/s.。
⚫ The door is locked and remains if the program switch is set in the locking position. In all
other programmed positions, the opening signal is affected automatically.。
⚫ The sliding door opens with a set-up speed 0.08m/s to the opening position。
⚫ Set the parameters(PN-10) according to the weight of the door。

⚫ Push door panel to the middle position.
⚫ Confirming if input power supply accord with the system(AC195~245V), and connected with power.

⚫ When first time power connected, the system will enter self-learning process. Door will move to closing direction
by the speed of 0.1m/s. If the door moves to opening direction, the motor working direction need to set up again. Refer
to second level parameter “Pn 10”. During self-learning process, professional installation need stay at the door and
monitor the completed process because all outside safety and active signal are shield.
⚫ If not the first time connecting to power supply, system will move to closing position by speed of0.1m/s, then enter
normal working status.

1、 Before each closing door automatically, the system needs to check the safety signal, to find out if the
safety sensor is working properly.
2、When the system has an ERR fault or abnormality, the light will flash (start the counting after the light
on for 2.5 seconds), and the number of flashing times is recorded, which corresponds to the ERRxx code.
The specific meaning is shown in Table 4.2.
This status of light is the same as the No. 12 terminal of the main controller.
3、 Refer to the “Pn 24” parameter in Table 4.1 for the selection of magnetic locks and electromechanical
locks.
4、 The meaning of the status relay is shown in the “Pn 29” parameter in Table 4.1.

IV Parameter adjusting
Parameter setting up: programming function setting up

1. Press “△” “▽” at the same time till LED shows:”Pn 00”, which means entering the second level-
programming status.
2. Perameter code is shown as “Pn xx”, xx refers to the parameter code to be set up; press “△” button
to increase the code, and press “▽” to decrease the code, set up range is from Pn 01~ Pn 31.
3. After selecting the parameter code need to be adjusted, press “△” “▽” at the same time, LED display
shows: “= xx”, which means entering the third level- parameter adjusting status.
⚫ Parameter is shown as “= xx”, xx refers to the parameter value; press “△” button to increase the
value, and press “▽” to decrease the value.
⚫ After set up the parameter value, press “△” “▽” at the same time, and back to the second level-
programming status. Then select another parameter code to be adjusted.
⚫ Could back to the first level- working status by select the parameter code “PN 00”, or stop any option
on the button for 30 seconds to back to first level automatically.
