How does gene technology affect humans?

INTRODUCTION:

Genetic testing is a form of genetic technology. They can be used for a range of things, such as diagnosing rare
disorders and commercial services that include medical knowledge or family history. This could aid in the
development of therapies that are tailored to our genetic makeup.

REASON #1

A positive of this is human lifespan can be expanded by genetic technology. Human physical characteristics must
change as the climate changes. Genetic engineering provides us with a more rapid way forward, which we can use
to insure our species' survival. By modifying our cells to make them more resistant to the normal ageing process,
we might be able to prolong our lives to levels previously considered unlikely.

REASON #2

Another positive is that couples with fertility issues will be able to use this technology to solve their problems.
Gene technology will also make it possible for couples who would otherwise fail to have children to do so. This
technology would allow population levels to be maintained without going overboard on family size. Population
shrinkage happens when a country's birth rate falls below 2.1 per family.

REASON #3

It can get rid of hereditary diseases. A genetic predisposition is necessary for the presence of a number of diseases.
When they are caused by a single mutation, we can remove them before they have an effect on a baby's growth. It
can also contribute to medications for those who are born without them.

CONCLUSION:

In conclusion looking at all the positive impacts of genetic technology, I agree with gene technology as an option
given.
