An official diploma, also given by the French Ministry of Education, evaluates and certifies the French language skills of foreign
applicants and French citizens from non-French speaking countries.
The DELF is made up of four diplomas, independent of each other (meaning that you could take level B1 even if you have not
taken level A1 or A2) :
A1/ A2 corresponds to a basic level
B1/ B2 corresponds to an intermediate level
At each level, the four language skills are evaluated. Here is a summary of what can be expected at each level :
DELF A1 is the first level. You are capable of simple interactions. At this level, you must be able to introduce yourself and ask
and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know, and things you have.

At the level DALF C1, the user can express themselves fluently with ease and spontaneity. Their vocabulary range is wide, the
speech is clear and well-structured.
For the DALF C2, the candidate demonstrates a precision, fluency, and ease in their manner of expression with the French
language. They can use the French language for academic and advanced-level purposes.
These French exams are often requested for some school curriculum and it is important to remedy this by taking an exam
preparation course or more specifically a DALF exam preparation course.

The French Knowledge Test

(TCF) France and Québec
It is composed of three compulsory tests (oral comprehension, mastery of language structures, and reading comprehension) and
two additional tests (oral and written). The three compulsory tests consist of multiple-choice 76 questions with only one correct
response out of the four answers. The questions are presented in order of increasing difficulty, ranging from level A1 to level C2
in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. For listening, documents and records correspond to spoken
communication that can be heard in France. Likewise, for reading comprehension, it favors authentic documents. In summary,
this French exam aims to assess you in an environment that approximates the situations you face in everyday life in France and
Québec.
The additional tests of speaking (12 minutes) and writing
(60 minutes) are individually taken with an
examiner and each exam is subject
to systematic double correction.

I am writing to you to enquire about the right path I will need to take in order to be a licensed pharmacist in Canada. First of all, I
would like to mention that I submitted my documents for evaluation a very long time and I sat for the Evaluation Examination
but was not successful. Afterwards, I managed to sit and pass the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee
(FPGEC) certification by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
I am currently awaiting any chance to sit for the NAPLEX examination, for which I have been granted
elegibitly, by the sate of New York. However, due to the current pandemic, it’s become very difficult to
secure a date for the test.
At this point, I am wondering whether my current status would be of any aid in moving forward and
applying for the PEBC qualifying examination directly, or still I will need to go through the same
process all over from the begging. The information online clear states the procedures of overseas
graduates and US universities’ graduates, though it is does reflect much on candidates
whose situations resemble mine.
I would kindly ask you for advice at a time of your convenience.

(TCF) France and Québec
It is composed of three compulsory tests (oral comprehension, mastery of language structures, and reading comprehension) and
two additional tests (oral and written). The three compulsory tests consist of multiple-choice 76 questions with only one correct
response out of the four answers. The questions are presented in order of increasing difficulty, ranging from level A1 to level C2
in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. For listening, documents and records correspond to spoken
communication that can be heard in France. Likewise, for reading comprehension, it favors authentic documents. In summary,
this French exam aims to assess you in an environment that approximates the situations you face in everyday life in France and
Québec.
The additional tests of speaking (12 minutes) and writing
(60 minutes) are individually taken with an
examiner and each exam is subject
to systematic double correction.

Fransa ve Québec
Üç zorunlu sınavdan (sözlü anlama, dil yapılarına hâkim olma ve okuduğunu anlama) ve iki ek testten (sözlü ve yazılı) oluşur. Üç
zorunlu test; çoktan seçmeli 76 soruluk bir sınavdan oluşmakta ve dört şıktan sadece biri doğru cevap kabul edilerek
hazırlanmaktadır. Sorular, Avrupa Ortak Dil Referans Çerçevesi’nde A1 seviyesinden C2 seviyesine kadar artan zorluk
derecesine göre oluşturulmaktadır. Dinleme sınavı için seçilen belgeler ve kayıtlar Fransa'daki sözlü iletişime karşılık gelen
belgelerdir. Aynı şekilde okuduğunu anlama sınavı için de yine özgün belgeler tercih edilir.
Özetle, Fransızca yapılmakta olan bu sınav, Fransa ve Québec'te günlük yaşamda karşılaştığınız durumlara yaklaşan bir ortamda
sizi değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
Ek konuşma (12 dakika) ve yazma (60 dakika) sınavları ise, bir denetçi ile ayrı ayrı yapılmakta ve her sınav sistematik çift
düzeltmeye tabi edilmektedir.
