 WHAT IS THE MESSAGE?

- Nido emphasizes the importance of parenthood. Regardless the situation of the


parents, they must still focus on the value of giving their child the attention, love, and
care that he need. They have to understand the importance of guiding their child in
the process of growing up. And for them to know that they’re also being there for
each other. Having a mom and dad that guides a child will definitely help him grow
stronger.

 WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE MESSAGE?

- The purpose of the ad is to show that parents can still express their love, attention,
and care on their child despite the circumstances. Though everyone wants a complete
family, it can’t be helped that there are married couples that decided to separate. But
regardless of the situation, it shouldn’t stop the parents on expressing their love for
their children. Nido just don’t promote the best milk for the child, but also shows the
best kind of parenting that the child need. No matter what the circumstances are, your
child matters the most.

 HOW IS THE MESSAGE CONVEYED BY THE TEXT AND/ OR THE VIDEO?

- Using the Nido Protectus 3+ advertisement the management of Nestle Creative


Services have been able to convey the true message of the Tv commercial by using
the current realities of broken family and how should we deal with it without
affecting the child’s growth. The fact that several couples has been separating, it is
important that parents still manage to show their love to their child/children despite
their separation. Story telling was an effective way to deliver the message of the
advertisement. It was clearly presented.
 WHO IS THE TARGET AUDIENCE OF THE MESSAGE?

- The target audience of the message are the parents

 WHAT MODES WERE USED IN PRESENTING THE MESSAGE?

- The linguistic mode, visual mode, aural mode, and spatial mode were used in
presenting the message.

 DO YOU THINK IT EFEECTIVELY INTEGRATE THE DIFFERENT MODES IN


CONVEYING ITS MESSAGE?

- Yes because the message was delivered clearly and meaningfully. The audience will
be able to identify the true meaning of the message.

 WHAT DID YOU FEEL WHILE AND AFTER WATCHING THE COMMERCIAL?

- I feel happy and sad at the same time.


 I feel happy because despite the circumstances that the parents have, it didn’t affect the
love that they have for their child and I feel sad at the same time because marriage of his
parents failed. Somehow I’m hoping that they’ll get back together.
