The three days seminar that held in MSEUFCI is one of the few seminar that I
have attended. But I can say that it is one of the most inspiring and knowledgeable
seminar I have experienced. In this seminar I learned a lot of things and specially
lessons.The lessons I learned from the first day that tackles different topics which are
about the GENDER AND DEVELOPMENT and REVISITING DIGITAL AND MEDIA
VALUES helps me to learned something and let me realized a lot of things such that
my fellow women experienced cruelty and inequality when the Japanese occupation
happened. Women became a sex slave to different Japanese military and I really felt
how painful and how cruel the world is, that time because of that I realize how lucky
I was because I was born in our generation where we have our freedom that is why I
am very thankful to all of Filipino Heroes who sacrificed their lives to be able to give
us the freedom that we deserve. But there is a certain point in my life where I felt
sorry and disappointed to other individual in our present generation because they
are taking their freedom for granted they are not using it the right it should be rather
they are abusing their freedom to do the things they want without considering the
true values of freedom in our life.,they always exceeding their limitations .Those are
the people who do not know how to appreciate the sacrifices of our heroes. Aside
from that, in the second part of the seminar in the first day I am able to know the
real meaning of the words TRUE, GOOD and BEAUTIFUL from the quote that the
speaker told us which is “EVERYTHING THAT IS TRUE IS GOOD, EVERYTHING THAT
IS GOOD IS BEAUTIFUL and EVERYTHING THAT IS BEAUTIFUL IS TRUE and GOOD. In
this quote I learned that the real meaning of True is when the things you do are good
for you and for others and Good is when you do the things you ought to do and not
the things you need to do and lastly it helps me to realize that Beauty should not be
based only with the physical aspects because once you do the things you ought to do
that is true and good for you and for others you can consider your self as one of the
most beautiful person in the world.
In the second day of the seminar it is where different section of Senior
Highschool have their representative who will discuss different interesting research
study and I learned how to listen attentively so that that their efforts will be worth it.
In the last day of the seminar I can say that it is my favorite part because I learned a
lot of inspirational quotes which is one of my favorite things to do, to read and be
motivated with beautiful quotes. One of those quotes is “BE OPEN WITH CRITICISMS
BUT NEVER BE AFFECTED BY IT” this quote teaches me a lesson that eventhough
other people judged and criticized you, you should not be affected by this rather you
should make it your motivation to become a better version of who you are. Another
quote that catches my attention is”YOUR MIND IS A MAGNET IF YOU THINK
BLESSINGS YOU WILL ATTRACT BLESSINGS, BUT IF YOU THINK PROBLEMS YOU
WILL ATTRACT PROBLEMS” it only means that if we thought of positive things we
can live a life full of joy and happiness but once we always think about negative
things the life that we will be leaving will become a life full of sadness and sorrows.
Lastly for the last part of the seminar in the third day I learned the most important
thing that everyone of us should know which is to know the right ways on how to
dispose our garbages and learned to respect, take care and love our MOTHER
EARTH.
