Global Citizenship Essay

The vision of the ASGL school is to prepare students to learn more about life and

understand the concept of being a student capable of fulfilling their dreams. And ASGL

mission is to teach students the concept of being a diligent student in their studies and

expressing what the world around them is and being professionals in what it shows them.

As I have been in ASGL for many years, I have seen and understood the determinations

that ASGL has for students and it is very right to prepare students to be somebody in life.

Everything I have seen from the vision is fulfilled in me, knowing that ASGL prepares

me to be able to go to university with the confidence of having skills as Communicators

because I learned to have the confidence to express what I think to others and to work

with my friends. And I feel confident in the mission of being able to give my best and be

a student capable of learning something new. Being a global citizen is who I am because I

learned to express how I feel about myself and being able to be Open Minded when it

comes to learning about other cultures, expressions of new people and understanding

others in their way of thinking has prepared me for being a global citizen and being able

to travel the world.

For me, being a global citizen is understanding the role of society in the world

around you. Have the ability to work with other people to understand the concept of life

and create positive ideas for your community. Around me, the person I consider a global
citizen is my pastor Mateo Francisco. He is a person that in the congregation we consider

someone straight and positive in his words, considering that no one should judge anyone

based on his appearance. He is a person who inspires the society around us to have

respect and love for the cultures of each person. Love others no matter where that person

comes from, love and respect our authorities so as not to do anything wrong. One of his

qualities is Caring because he shows empathy and compassion for others and respects

cultures. He shows it when he preaches and when he talks to a person, no matter where

that person comes from. And he also shows Inquirers as he teaches how to improve our

lives and our society in the way of respecting everyone in order to have peace in our

hearts. Our desire is that we learn from our pastor Matteo Francisco, no matter how many

failures he commits as a human that he is and that we are, because he always shows a

positive attitude of getting up with joy no matter how badly we do it, always continuing

with the life that awaits us.

As time has changed, my life has also changed a lot. I have learned a lot about life

as a better human being and how to be a positive person and be able to pick myself up

from the mistakes I have made. During the time the pandemic hit 3 years ago, I learned to

give life more meaning. Understanding what the world is really like is keeping in mind

that the most important thing is to be with the people you value the most and knowing

that everything you imagine can disappear in a second. That was one of the things I

learned in the middle of the pandemic to take care of myself and my family so that

nothing bad happens to them. I had to follow what the laws said during the pandemic and

listen to the recommendations they gave us, so that we were all well. When I saw
everything that I was going through and living, I discovered that I used Balanced a lot

because I cared about my life and the lives of others and to be able to have my emotions

well and have positive thoughts in my life, to be able to help others get ahead. By

understanding everything, I think I was able to understand what is the importance of

being able to stand your ground to be a global citizen. These experiences framed me to

establish the importance and empathy of being fair, this shows me that I am following the

steps to be a global citizen. In the future, I am interested in continuing to learn about what

the world teaches us every day and being able to become someone who helps the

community and keep updating myself and understanding more about learning as a global

citizen. And by fulfilling my dreams, I would be a person who is upright in his ways and

positive in my words.

As I continue to learn more about my learner profiles, I think I'm taking a deeper

approach to learning more about myself and understanding what I really want for my life.

Something that I am putting into practice in my life is Thinkers because I am learning to

use skills that can help in the future and gaining more creativity to analyze the problems

that happen around me. My inspiration to be able to study more is music, knowing that it

will open my emotions, something that I know I will be able to sustain and keep my

thoughts positive. Music for me is something that I can show my feelings towards others

and bring joy and joy to my community so that they are motivated to continue studying

what they are really passionate about. I would like to give to others what ASGL gave me,

how to be a positive and communicative person and to be an open-minded person,

because I was able to experience these three skills at school and put them into practice in
projects in presentations with my peers and speaking with the teacher helped me to be

more open with people. And this I want to teach the students that one day I am going to

teach as a musician what I am going to do and show the skills that ASGL taught me one

day so that they feel inspired to be someone in life. And understand that we all make

mistakes in school and outside of school, but this is not an impediment to stay stuck, but

a motivation to be someone better in the future. My plans are to teach society the skills

that I have learned to be a global citizen and to continue to acquire more knowledge to

show the skills that you are acquiring as a global citizen. Everything I'm learning I want

to share with the world around me to bring peace to life and create positive thinking and

impact the world with my daily life experiences.

My conclusion that I have set is that we can all unanimously come to understand

the importance of working together so that we can help each other in this world in which

we live. Keep in mind what we are going to say and act with others, so that they can

understand what we are trying to convey to the community. It doesn't matter if we get

confused or make mistakes, that's something you learn as you experience the world we

live in. All this to maintain global thinking and a solid status that we can sustain by

learning different ways of thinking from people. and different events and cultures that

surround us in the world. All this will help us understand a little more about what we do

to make a strong community and mark a positive generation and be better citizens of the

world. Leaving legacies that in the future speak of what one day marked the entire world

and can do the same or better than what we are doing today.
