Reality, a word that is often heard by some of us but actually that word has lot

of meaning. That word itself means to be prepared to face the real world. When I say
the real world, it includes all of the problem that we are going to face such as the
dramas, the struggles and all the morals that we will learn in this life.

Back in the day, I didn’t take this word very seriously but in time I did
understand what is reality, how to embrace it and face it. As we know, we are in the
situation that has cost a lot on the humanity and it has a huge impact on humanity,
so we must show our compassion and our care to humanity. Not many people
realize that we should help each other in this time of crisis. Most people are just
being egocentric, they only think of their own benefits and needs when in fact they
can help others in need too. I see, something missing in our world right now, its
compassion and care. I want to help humanity in this kind of situation because we
never know what’s going to happen next.

I want to motivate myself to learn how to change this world and help humans
across the world. That is one of my reasons why I want to major in INTERNATIONAL
RELATIONS at PARAHYANGAN UNIVERSITY. Why UNPAR? because I see the
culture, I see there is something that UNPAR can give to the students: the culture,
the diversity and the environment. I have done my own research and I learned that
UNPAR prioritizes the way their students think, allowing them to express themselves
and dig their own potential. That is something I want to see for myself. I have my
own resource person for this research, that is my own sister who is an alumna from
UNPAR and she majored in INTERNATIONAL RELATION. I have learned many
things from her because she is an INTERNATIONAL RELATION graduate. She
shared her experiences, knowledge and advice. I want to know more about the
major and I think that UNPAR is the best place to start with.

Going back to my main discussion in the first paragraph, I know that one of
the potential jobs that I can gain from this major is that I have a chance to work in a
government institution and become a diplomat because my goal is to change the
world. I want to work together with other people and I think becoming a diplomat can
help me achieve my dreams for this world. After what I have discussed on this
essay, my conclusion is that we as humans should care for one another to fight
against this situation. We need to learn how to cooperate and I believe that
INTERNASIONAL RELATION major at UNIVERSITY PARAHYANGAN can help and
guide me to achieve my dream.
