4.6 Performance Ratio Testing

Performance Ratio tests were conducted on the PV plant, with the results calculated by the following
formula:

E GSTC
PR= ∗
Pnom∗(1+(T CEL −T REF )∗γ ) Hi

 E: Measured AC production (kWh) measured by the power meter

 Pnom : is the nameplate capacity of the solar PV modules (kWp)
 GSTC : 1000 W/m2 (Irradiance at Standard Test Conditions)
 Hi: In-plane irradiation measured by the calibrated reference cells (kWh/m2)
 TCEL: measured module temperature
 TREF: 25 °C (temperature at Standard Test Conditions)
 : Power temperature module coefficient [%kW/°C] = -0.40%

The average Performance Ratio was calculated over the period of 5 consecutive days, where the
irradiance measured between 400-1000W/m2, and where the PV production was uncurtailed by the
battery controller. Data was sampled at 5 minute intervals.

4.6.1 SUMMARY OF TEST RESULTS

Energy

TOTAL

The simulated PR for ______ is _____% from the PVSyst report, so the PR threshold to pass is ____%.
The tests were therefore successfully passed.

The raw data for this assessment can be found under the link in section 7.
