Half term
IF you are close to the next grade boundary you have
the next two working days to improve to hit that.
If you gain a referral we will need to have a 1-2-1 meeting
on how to progress and IF you can progress given the
amount of work.
NO MORE WORK SUBMITTED AFTER 9th JUNE 2021

NB:
Feedback: (weeks work plus the improvements from week before – if they have not
been
completed they WILL NOT and CAN NOT (UAL RULES) be marked again)

If you fail on second submission after referral you fail the course

You have 3 weeks of holiday in the middle of this FMP – Please use this time
productively

R335 will be open EVERY Wednesday with either Sarah, Adam or James manning it
for
extra verbal feedback, guidance and help. PLEASE USE THIS TIME.

Checklists are there to guide you – if you do extra that will push your grade.

1st lesson of every week will be feedback and last lesson of every week will be
evaluations – make sure you are there at all times.

What UAL look for in the work

Continuous assessment of own work (weekly evaluations)

Improvements – NEVER get rid of trials / practice / first attempts – they want to
see
improvements.
Relevant research – research MUST link to production otherwise it fails (even if it is
detailed)
Evaluations: Must look back on feedback, how you could improve and what you
will
do to fix the situations
Issues faced: How you overcame them – professional working practice
Productions: Creative, use of correct conventions and how suited it is to the target
audience
