Cisco High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) Cable

®
The Cisco High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI™) cable provides excellent
uncompressed digital video and audio in a simple, user-friendly connector. HDMI is the
standard digital audio and video interface for high-definition audio-visual (A/V)
applications.

HDMI, combined with High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP), provides a secure
connection to an HDTV that supports the HDMI interface. The Cisco HDMI cable is certified and is
fully backward compatible with the Digital Visual Interface (DVI) v1.0 video interfaces present on
earlier versions of HDTVs.

With an HDMI cable, subscribers eliminate the need for both an audio and a video cable. HDMI
combines high-definition video and multi-channel audio in a single, all-digital interface, with
bandwidth of up to 10 Gigabits-per-second. HDMI transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and
supports 8-channel digital audio with bandwidth available to accommodate future enhancements

Description
AMP NETCONNECT 520 Series Category 5e plenum cables feature the best in class AirES® technology. This patented
design saves as much as 32% of the available space in cable runs and is a key component of the AMPNETCONNECT
structured cabling system. The smaller diameter also saves space in the communications closet, reduces the amount of cable
management accessories required and lowers the risk associated with fire and smoke in the plenum space.

AMP NETCONNECT Enhanced Category 5e (Cat5E) cables exceed ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Enhanced Category 5 (Category 5e) and
ISO/IEC 11801 Class D performance requirements by significant margins, providing extra headroom for a more robust cabling
system. The AMP NETCONNECT Enhanced Category 5 System complies with all of the performance requirements for current
and proposed applications such as Gigabit Ethernet (1000BASE-Tx), 10 and 100BASE-Tx, token ring, 155 Mbps ATM, 100 Mbps
TP-PMD, ISDN, analog and digital video, and analog and digital voice (VoIP).

AMP NETCONNECT Category 5E cables are available in standard colors white, gray, blue and yellow. Packaging includes reel-
in-a-box, pull boxes and reels. Additional jacket colors are also available.

Specification
Horizontal cabling shall be 24 AWG, 4-pair UTP, NEC/NFPA CMP rated and be independently verified for compliance. Cable
jacketing shall be white, gray, blue or yellow and shall be lead-free. Individual conductors shall be 100% FEP insulated. Cable
shall be independently verified by ETL and shall exceed all ANSI/TIA and ISO Enhanced Category 5/Class D requirements as
well as meet the performance requirements listed in the table shown on page 2.

Cable performance shall be independently verified and characterized to 350MHz. Cable shall be supplied on reels, in pull boxes
or in a reel-in-a-box. Cable shall be independently verified for flammability by UL. Flammability shall comply to NEC article 800
and NFPA 262. Horizontal cable shall be AMP NETCONNECT part number 57825-X.

QO and Homeline Dual Combination Ground

Function Circuit Breakers

Arc Fault Fault
Protection Protection

Save time and money with combined Combination Arc Fault

Protection and Ground Fault Protection in one device.

The innovative Square D QO™ and Homeline™ Dual Function Circuit Breaker
saves space and installation time while meeting prevailing National Electrical
Code® requirements. Available in both standard Pigtail and time-saving Plug-on
Neutral configurations, these circuit breakers combine two critical, state-of-the-art
technologies; Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault (Class A) protection, in one
easy-to-install device. The Dual Function Circuit Breaker offers superior electrical
safety for homeowners.

The 2014 National Electrical Code now requires both Combination Arc Fault
(CAFI) and Ground Fault (GFCI) protection on all 1-Pole, 15 A, and 20 A kitchen
and laundry circuits. Prior to the release of the Dual Function Circuit Breaker, a
contractor or homeowner’s only choice was to use a Combination Arc Fault circuit
breaker in conjunction with an expensive, bulky Ground Fault receptacle. The
new Dual Function circuit breakers help reduce cost and eliminate the hassle of
using two separate devices to provide critical protection. It’s a win for contractors
and homeowners alike. Like all Square D™ CAFI Circuit Breakers, it is integrated
with TIME SAVER Diagnostics, a unique feature that provides additional circuit
information and improves troubleshooting at the touch of a button.

QO and Homeline Dual Function Circuit Breakers are

available in 15 and 20 ampere ratings. Benefits:
• Saves time — Combination Arc Fault and Ground Fault protection in a
single device enables faster installation.
• Saves money— Lower cost than purchasing two separate devices.
• Saves space — Two state-of-the-art technologies engineered into one
small device. No need for wiring a bulky GFI receptacle.
The Dual Function Circuit Breaker
• Easy-to-use — Equipped with simple and effective TIME SAVER
meets 2014 National Electrical Code Diagnostics, it provides circuit information at the touch of a button.
requirements and quickly responds • Reliable — Engineered with the quality and craftsmanship that have
when a hazardous condition occurs. made Square D the preferred brand of electricians and homeowners for
over 50 years.

How does TIME SAVER Diagnostics work?

TIME SAVER Diagnostics identify circuit issues faster. The TIME SAVER sequence is simple and easy to use, and requires no tools or
special training.
• Simply turn off the circuit breaker, hold down the Push-To-Test button, and then turn the circuit breaker back on. It’s that simple!
»» If the circuit breaker trips immediately, it is detecting a Fault to Ground.
»» If the circuit breaker trips after a 2-second delay; it is detecting an Arc Fault. In either case, it is an indication that there is an issue
ON the circuit and NOT with the circuit breaker itself.

TIME SAVER Diagnostics is equipped in all Square D Homeline and QO(B) CAFI Circuit Breakers (1-Pole and 2-Pole) and
Dual Function Circuit Breakers with a date code of 1130 or higher.
