Are IELTS and TOEFL important?

TOEFL and IELTS are not uncommon thing for us right now. TOEFL and IELTS
are used for continuing our study to overseas. TOEFL stands for Test of English as
Foreign Language, while IELTS stands for International English Language Testing
System. TOEFL generally uses British-American. In addition, TOEFL only takes
academic tests while IELTS (academic) has a combination of academic reading and
writing tests with general reading and writing. IELTS also conducts a more realistic
face-to-face, interactive communication test. According to the blog

Testing System. The test is available in two formats: ‘IELTS Academic’, for those
planning to study at a higher education level abroad; and ‘IELTS General Training’,
which focuses on social skills and workplace contexts” . In general, these two tests are
similar, both of them have four parts, there are speaking, listening, reading, and
writing.“Since TOEFL is administered by US-based institutions, this test is favored
by American institutions. There are two types of TOEFL exams, the paper-based test
(PBT) and the internet-based test (iBT). TOEFL PBT has a score between 310 to 677,
while iBT has a scale of 80 to 120. For IELTS test we have to have score 6.5 to 7.0”

we have to take again the test after 2 years.

I think it is so important for us to take TOEFL and IELTS test. I have several
reasons for my opinion. The first reason is abroad university have several
requirements, one of them is to have the standardized score TOEFL and IELTS test.
In Addition, English is international language, so we have to be fluent in English in
order to communicate with other people in abroad, and also IELTS test is used for
immigration purposes to the UK and Canada. Additionally, TOEFL and IELTS are
not only used for accepting to study abroad, TOEFL and IELTS are also used for
applying job and graduating from university. Another of my opinion is, in order to get
study abroad we should understand the accent of the language. English have several
accents such as British, American, and etc. Doing IELTS and TOEFL test will help
you to understand it.

Therefore, TOEFL and IELTS test are important things to take for us before
living or studying abroad. We have to have the score according to a predetermined
standard. To get the best score, we have to do the best from our self, study hard, know
our passion, try and always try, do more exercise every day. Do not study just because
of a test or study at night before the test, it will not help on the test you but study and
do exercise to get the best of our self.
