The definite article THE.

Se utiliza para masculino, femenino, plural y singular y su significado en


español es: EL, LA, LOS y LAS.

The indefinite article A – AN.


Estas palabras poseen el mismo significado (un-una) pero se les da un uso
diferente.
A: Significa UN-UNA, se utiliza delante de palabras que inicien en consonantes.

The Adjectives.
Se usan para describir un nombre o sustantivo, se usa la misma forma
para el plural y el singular, normalmente se usa antes del nombre.

Nota: Los adjetivos pueden ser usados después del verbo to be.

The verb TO BE.

El verbo TO BE significa ‘ser o estar’, y para su conjugación en presente


posee tres variables que son (AM ARE IS) con las cuales se puede afirmar, negar e interrogar.

CONJUGACION DEL VERBO TO BE

Para responder en forma corta usando el verbo ‘to be’ no es necesario repetir la oracion completa,
solo usamos Yes o Not + el pronombre + la variable correspondiente.
Al responder de manera afirmativa en forma corta solo usamos; Yes + pronombre + la variable
correspondiente (normalmente en este caso no unsamos contraccion).
Example:
Is she a teacher? Are they English student?
Yes, she is. Yes, they are.
Al responder en forma negative normalmente se usa la forma corta o contraída.
Example:
Is he your father? Is she your girlfriend?
Not, he isn’t. Not she isn’t.

4. Peter and Helen are on the beach. 8. He is a good student.


Peter and Helen aren’t on the beach. He isn’t good student.
Are Peter and Helen on the beach? Is he a good student?

How do you pronounce it?


En ingles, tienes que pronunciar cada parte de la palabra. Es decir, a veces es major que
hables despacio, recuerda que la ultima letra de cada palabra es muy importante en la
pronunciación, por ejemplo: bitch------ beach, aunque en la pronunciation estas palabras
se paracen en el significado son muy diferentes.
