Traditional Authority

This authority of an organization or a ruling regime is largely tied to

tradition or custom. For the best example in this authority is the political
dynasty. In our community I think the best example for this is Mayor  Beverly
Dimacuha-Mariño the daughter of the Ex Mayor  Eduardo Dimacuha. That
time Mayor  Eduardo Dimacuha is running for his eighth nonconsecutive term
as Mayor of Batangas. On December 9, 2015, Dimacuha withdrew his
candidacy for Mayor. Substituting him is his only daughter, Beverly
Dimacuha-Mariño. This will be the first time, that women will be battling the
mayoralty post. I think this person possess this kind of authority because he
gave his positon to her daughter to be the next Mayor. In short it look like a
Political dynasty which is the best example for traditional authority.

2. Charismatic Authority
For this type of authority I think a person in our community who is
the best example for this is Vilma Santos. Wife of Senator Ralph Recto
and former mayor of Lipa City, Batangas. Star of all Season on her second
term as a Governor of Batangas. I think this is the person possess in this
kind of authority because we all know that charismatic authority is even
able to negate the standards provided by culture and tradition, or by
laws. And one of the example for this is the movie actors or actresses
who may end up possessing charismatic authority.

3. Rational - Legal Authority

The person that possesses in this kind of authority in our
community is Reyshanne Joy Marquez. She was the President of SK
Federation at the age of 17. Then when she was 18 years old she
became the Municipality Councilor of San Pascual, Batangas. This
kind of authority draws its legitimacy from formal rules
promulgated by the state through its fundamental and
implementing laws. This is form where government officials draw
their power. And I think President Duterte is one of another
example for this kind of authority.
