CASE STORY TITLE: A Better Alternative for the Youth of Barangay Maligalig

Conflict Identification

An alarming threat to their youth‘s welfare. Destruction of a better future of this

generation. Fights, incidents, that would most likely create crimes in the long-run. Bad influences
are all over in this Barangay. Aiming to eat all youths, thus eating our better future if continued
and not given solution.

Plan of Action

As a fellow youth, I believe that yes, recreation could help. This includes sports and artistic
way of spending our time. Releasing our stress too. I believe that if we start formulating weekly
games or say, devotion days, we could create more bond with each other too. Thus, bad influece
from fellow youth could be lesson. Drawing, singing, or just mere sharing experiences. This will
help us communicate in a much likely manner to avoid misunderstandings too. Learning to put
our potentials into good use is the best decision we could ever make.

Reflection

I remember certaing days where I feel unsafe with kids around my age because of their
unlikely habits and unruly actions. It makes me feel so terrified even just by passing and looking
at them. I believe that creating activities to guide us everyday be a better person is the best way
to become a better world. As Dr. Jose Rizal have stated, “Kabataan ang Pag-asa ng Bayan”. I hope
we would embody and portray this. It is better to start now because I know we can, just a little
hand and hand actions, we would step by step become a better people, better Barangay, better
country and a better world.
