• Toy filling (less than 50g)

• Darning or tapestry needle to sew the

knitted pieces together

Yarn:

All DK weight yarns, and less than 20g in

each colour:

White: Robin DK in shade

Sewing seams: Use mattress stitch to sew the

seams.

Holly Berries
Make 2 . Cast on 4 sts in red on MAKING UP
straight 3.5mm needles.

Row 1: [kfb] x 3, turn (7 sts)

turn = Turn the work (as you
would at the end of a row) but
leaving the last st unworked at
the end of the row. In this
pattern, you do not need to wrap
the next stitch at the point of the
turn.
Row 2: p6 (7 sts, WS)
Pudding: Sew the side edges together, stuffing as you sew. Finish by
gathering the cast on sts together at the base.
Holly Leaf: Sew the cast off end of each leaf the the centre top of the
pudding.
Holly Berries: Sew the finished berry on top of the holly leaves.
Finishing: Thread a length of yarn or ribbon through the top of the
pudding to make a loop to hang the bauble on your Christmas tree.

Row 3: [k2tog] x 3, k1 (4 sts)

Pull through to cast off, pushing

the RS of the bobble to face
outwards.
