Preparatory Activities:
1. Google Classroom per class should already be set-up before the first day of classes. You should already
add enrolled and registered students in Google Classroom. The latter will be removed should their status
remain unchanged when the enrollment period ends.

timeline. This document should be reviewed and approved by the Coordinator before distribution to
students. The outline would help in visualizing the pace of the course.
3. Upload course materials and other supplemental materials before the start of the term. Additional materials
may be uploaded at least a week before the scheduled session to allow students to prepare for the planned
lesson. Materials include, but not limited to, the following items:

videos, or webinars, posted lecture notes, exchanges across online discussion boards or social media
platforms, blogs, and other destination designed to offer quality learning content.

Assessment Activities:
Preparatory Activities:
1. Attend to your personal needs (i.e., appropriate attire, basic hygiene) before entering the Google classroom.
2. Wear smart casual attire. Sleeveless and sandos are not allowed.
3. Be on time in every session. Be in MS Teams classroom 5-10 minutes before your scheduled class. This
ensures that any last-minute connection issues can be resolved for the class to still start on time.
4. Make sure that you have a good spot for your Internet connection. Find a quiet place where there are no
distractions. Turn off or put into silent mode any cellphones, TV, and radios.
5. Properly set up and test the camera, speakers/earphones, and mic before each class. Make sure your
camera is centered, your speakers/earphones are working, and your voice clear and audible.
Classroom Management:
1. Wear headphones/earphones because it is much easier to hear each other and will help prevent mic
feedback.
2. Mute the mic when you are not speaking. Even moderate background noise is distracting. If you are using
the built-in mic of your laptop, avoid typing when unmuted. Speak at a normal volume.
3. The attendance should be taken for each period.
4. Utilize the chatbox regularly for messages to and from the students.
5. Acknowledge a student who raises his/her hand and allow him/her to speak at an appropriate time. You
should acknowledge them by their name.
6. When speaking, give your students a hint that it is the end of the statement by saying something like, “that’s
all,” or “I’m done,” or “thank you.”
7. Show respect for one another. Refrain from using profane or inappropriate language.
8. Be cautious when using humor or sarcasm as it can be misinterpreted.
9. The teaching-learning time should be used judiciously to make the class effective.
10. Having a closing activity is a must - to allow students to reflect on the content taught (recapitulation).
11. The instructor should leave the meeting only after the students have left and signed out.
Instructional Delivery:
1. Provide students with the most flexibility on the learning content, access, and innovative assessment by
making use of digital and non-digital tools. Synchronous learning channels include but not limited to;
videoconferencing, live chatting, live-streaming lectures, and live webinars.
2. Assess all course materials. Divide the materials into chunks. Long lectures are not the best way to engage
students online.
3. Focus on 'active' learning. Include discussions, collaboration, video, and audio clips to engage students who
are not in the room during a session.
Assessment Activities:
1. Base student grades on the submitted output. Mark student submissions according to the rubrics, if
applicable.
2. Give students sufficient time to complete an assigned task based on the timetable of deliverables approved
by the Coordinator.
3. Provide prompt and effective feedback to students’ work to guide students in achieving the desired
outcomes.
