 Serving medication is one of biggest challenging issue that faces MOH to meet their
patients' needs in quality, quantity, and timely manner. Now this issue has disappeared due to
new system of medication that has stablished by MOH and it considered one of step more to the
road of VISION 2030. WASFATE service is one of the services of the Unified Purchase of
Medicines, Devices and Medical Supplies "NUPCO" under the supervision of MOH. The
Wasfaty service was launched to contribute to achieving the aspiration of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia Vision 2030. Improving the quality of health care services and facilitating access to it by
linking hospitals and health care centers with approved pharmacies, so that the drugs is available
everywhere and at any time for free. Some of huge benefits out of this service are avoiding
handwritten mistake, availability of serving medication anytime and anywhere, reserving of
medication for those patient with chronic diseases, direct contact between assigned doctor and
pharmacist, and review the previous medications that has been served. Wasfaty is one of many
initiatives to Kingdom's Vision 2030.
