EXPLORE INTO ENGINEERED TIMBER PRODUCTS AND THE USE AS STRUCTURAL MEMBERS.

WRITE A TECHNICAL PAPER ENTITLES "ENGINEERED TIMBER AND ITS USE AS STRUCTURAL
MEMBERS".

Your submission must follow the format of a Technical Paper. It must start with INTRODUCTION and
ends with REFERENCE.

The paper should introduce (1) the different engineered timber and give examples of their use as
structural members; (2) example of mechanical properties (strength and stiffness) of engineered
timber; (3) durability issues in using engineered timber for structural purposes; (4) typical connections
used in engineered timber for structural purpose (with illustrations).

Your creativity, thinking skills, organization and written communication capabilities will be evaluated
through your paper.
