ACTIVITY NUMBER-2
ESSAY: What is an effective and dynamic team should be?
(Each essay statement should not more than 50 words only as your answer)

1. Clearly states it’s mission and goals:

It is to unify all of the member’s individual strength and skills and work together in harmony to
effectively function or operate as a single unit in order to achieve their common shared goal which is
to perform at the highest level and successfully unlock accomplishments/achievements collectively as
one team.

2. Operates Creatively

An agile team's productivity can be increased by effective creative collaboration. Creativity


inspires the team to work with each other. The creative process is established to enhance
teamwork, and this is the most important advantage of providing a space for creative thinking.

3. Focuses on result:

Every group or team must focus on something; the result, it is because it will give the team a
common ground on understanding what must be done on the process of the activity and will build
a straight path to the desired result. Thus, eye must be on the result.

4. Clarifies roles and responsibilities:

Dynamic team clarifies roles and responsibilities for the team to work together, such the doers
are the people that are driven by action, those who’s in charge of understanding how people
function that holds the team together, and the innovators that provide original ideas with clever
solutions.

5. Is well-organized:

A well-organized leader, is a sign of good and effective leadership. You will do a better job
maintaining your daily planner, be better prepared for the events, arrive for meetings
punctually, meet deadlines, with schedule neatly arranged, you utilize time efficiently,
complete most pressing assignments and maximize productivity
.

6. Builds upon individual strengths:

A team should know how to motivate everyone in the group to learn more about themselves,
identify limitations, resolve them, and improve their skills, especially in areas where they are most
interested. One should be able to mentor his teammates in a friendly manner so that their self-
esteem is boosted.

7. Supports leadership and each other:

Respecting the leader and one another in a dynamic team is very important, this will build a trust
to the leader and sense of command to the member, and it will also give the team the sense of
teamwork.

8. Develops team climate:

Organizational climate is the result of a combination of elements that affect the way team
members perceive their workplace it can be developed by identify the current organizational
climate, set motivational factors, ensure understanding of task delegation. Provide training and
give them time to do their job and meet your team members regularly in order to discuss and
share ideas about the upcoming goals.

9. Resolves disagreements:

Disagreement is common in a group. The best way to deal disagreement effectively is to


communicate and understand each other. Talk it out and avoid using harsh word. Share your
ideas and collaborate your plans and focus on the goals that are shared by the group.

10. Communicates openly:

Constructive feedback should be welcomed since it’s intended to support a person rather than to
insult or underestimate him. One should always remember as a recipient of feedback, that
feedback was provided by the individual commitment, effort, and courage. In terms of receiving
feedback, one has to be mentally prepared

11. Make objective decisions:

An effective and dynamic team should make objective decisions. Their judgment must be equal
based on verifiable facts and shouldn’t be influenced by one’s views and personal feelings. They
should be open-minded, respect and consider others opinions and point of view then evaluate
before having a conclusion.

12. Evaluate its own effectiveness:

A dynamic team should conduct evaluation and assessment on their effectiveness as a group
and also individually on each member. This is done to see if their strategies and approach
are working or not and if not, they can thoroughly investigate what causes this and work on
that towards improvement.
