1.What standards/content (the Power Standards) do
you have remaining for the 2nd quarter?
Visual Arts: Our standards are very fluid and can
be applied (and have been applied) throughout
the year. We focused on standards that we felt
would give us the most mileage and are greater
themes for the course(s)
- Big focus on Creative Thinking (AI. - AIV.I &
AI. - AIV.3)
- Planning Processes (AI. - AIV.2)
- Observational Skill (AI.- AIV. 14, AI.-
AIV.15)

Theater: We will be focused on completing:

-Historical and Culture Aspects of Diverse
Theatre Works (T2.6, T3.6, T4.6)
-Analysis, Interpreting, and Justifying personal
responses to Theatrical works (T1.3, T1.4)

the current time frame?
Visual Arts:
- Big focus on Creative Thinking (AI. - AIV.I &
AI. - AIV.3)
- Planning Processes (AI. - AIV.2)
- Observational Skill (AI.- AIV. 14, AI.-
AIV.15)
Theater: We will be focusing on:
-Actor preparation
-Vocal/Physical Application
-Critical Thinking when it comes to analysing
works of Theatre.

our ‘power standards’ and we try to build in
some of the less used standards as a
secondary aspect to projects as we
progress throughout the year.
Theater: We have already got the basics down to
be able to accomplish these goals. If need be,
future projects will be minimized and focused on
