WASTE SORTING

Let’s start with our homes

- Raise the productivity of waste management.

- It is important to start segregation from our homes. We don’t need to purchase different
bins for different types of items – it can simply be collecting paper and cardboard boxes,
putting them in a separate trash bag before throwing them into the garbage. It would also
be helpful and relevant if we mark our bags to easily determine what they are. If it’s
plastic, we mark it ‘plastic’; if it’s paper, we mark it ‘paper’, and so on.

- By doing this, we’re making our lives and the lives of garbage and recycling companies
easier. We may not earn anything from it but we’re maximising the efficiency of their
recycling machinery because they don’t need to sort it anymore.

- Its protect the environment

-

If you don’t sort your rubbish and simply dispose of it, your recyclable waste and non-
recyclable waste will both reach the landfill. While this causes the loss of recyclable
resources, it also consumes landfill space rapidly. Moreover, some types of organic waste
decompose in landfills to release greenhouse gases. All of this is immensely harmful to the
environment.

However, by sorting your rubbish at the source, you can ensure that recyclable waste doesn’t
get dumped in landfills. This reduces consumption of landfill space as also the emission of
greenhouse gases. And, your recycled waste can be sent to a recycling depot to be put to good
use.

Turning waste into treasure.

 We turn waste into valuable secondary raw materials, which are used repeatedly in the
product manufacturing; it help us reduce the mức độ khai thác tài nguyên và tiết kiệm

Or even bigger project like filling in an area of water with heavy rock, cement, dirt, and
garbage to make new land, though not in quite such fancy shapes. The Chūbu Centrair

artificial islands. (pic)
Do you believe that this resort-like island which is actually a tourist spot, with blooming
coral reefs and clean waters is an actual garbage dump? (pic)
Waste is more worthy than we actually think. Although the world today is facing with the
biggest environmental challenges, proposal of waste, many other countries have effective
policies, their own unique approaches to deal with this issue.
the key of countries that are successful in waste management

Germany: The (Current) Leader of the World’s Waste-Recycling Race

Germany is the country with the world’s number one recycling country (according to
Eunomia). The country has a quite detailed way of sorting their waste—down to the colour of
the glass waste you wished to throw away, the type of paper that could be put inside the paper
waste bin, separate bin for metals, another different bin for plastic, another different bin for
ceramic or broken glass, etc.
Or Japan, although the recycling in Japan is not very high, just 20% but they have 70%
percent waste is burned to generate power, ways they deal with trash is effectively
impressive. After the trash was strictly sorted and moved to the factories, the rubbish is going
to be burned with a special CFB technique (circulating fluidized bed) it uses modern
environmentally friendly technology to process a reliable fuel coal, it is one of the cleanest
ways to generate power from a non renewable source.
Cause although japan just recycled 20% waste but 70% are burned to generate power. It is a
very impressive number for producing energy. We can easily see in common, sorting is
always an crucial part of the way lead to success.

By embracing the best practices that are successful in each of these countries, (every country
in the world) / our coutry can drastically cut down its waste/

As it seems, in order to implement a high success rate for a nationwide recycling program,
the community requires one or all of these qualities: organization—be it through legislation,
industry, or entrepreneurs—incentive: a personal motive or financial necessity, and cultural
habit-building practices. It is sure that the project will take a lots of efforts of citizens and
government

1.changing their people’s behavior and mindset towards waste management (the monetary
rewards/ a certain portion of the price on a bottled drink that you get back if you return said
bottle to a certified outlet)

2. establish a systematic and strict waste management standard to ensure the stability of their
future economy.( government knows for sure that a good waste management system brings lots of
good things: money-saving, environment-caring, and that means more opportunities to grow and
expand.)

3. encourage people try to make “3R” become a habit( reuse, reduce, recycle). Some items do not
belong in your apartment/housing area’s public garbage bins. Items like used batteries, electronics,
unused paints, light bulbs, and appliances must be returned to the special agents/locations so they
can be recycled. Other items such as clothes, shoes, and oversized trash and furniture are advised to
be sold or donated.
