1. What was the stereotype that the researchers wanted to investigate?
- Professor Petra Boynton wanted to find out that girls are gossips and
often talk about trivial things.

-This research was done at University College London
3. How was the research done?
-Professor Boynton interviewed over 1.000 women to carry out her
study
4. What did the research show?
- The study shows that when women talk their conversations aren't
trivial at all, and they can cover many more topics than men. Women
conversations range from health to their houses, fashion, movies,
family, education and relationship problems. Professor Boynton also
found that women move quickly from one subject to another in
conversations.
