LESSON PLAN ASSIGNMENT

Directions: Create a 30 minute lesson plan for the management development topic you selected using this
sample format. I choose Strategic Planning just as an example. Be sure to include an instructor notes
column on the right hand side with estimated times and objectives. (You can create a table with two columns
in word to do this). Include enough details in your lesson plan that someone else could look at your lesson
plan and use it to teach from.

You must include an introduction, attention getter, motivation (benefits), and overview to start your lesson
plan. When you are ready to move to the ending portion of your lesson plan you must type a summary,
restate key point covered in your training, refer back to the attention getter you used at the beginning of
your lesson plan and type a “strong” ending sentence to end your training.
