It is also reffered as the Great War. It commenced in 1914, preceding the Murder of
Austrian called Archduke Franz. This sparked a great war that involved the formation of
alliances and different countries, sidelining themselves on one another for their protection and
war. United States wanted not to sideline itself on any alliance during World War, it deemed
impossible. This meant that the United States had to raise its money and forces to wage war. The

The First World War impacted American life and other countries both socially,
economically, and politically. The war transformed the world's economic equity, leaving the
countries in Europe in significant deficit; this made the United States the best creditor and

industrial superpower in the globe. This upheld the country's economic status since it could
benefit from crediting its resources to the rest of the countries affected by war. This shows how
a lot of people were killed in battles. This affected much their way of life, considering that some

The 1920s represented an era of change when a lot of Americans owned telephones, radios
and vehicles for the first time. The vehicles brought about the necessity to construct the right
roads, and the radio brought the globe closer to home. Historians see the 20s as the beginning of
modern times because some transformations and changes were visible, and they positively
impacted the country's development. (Murphy). The way of life of the people was improved by
The introduction of cars brought about an urge to construct the right roads in the country,
which eased the transportation of essential goods from one place to another. This promoted trade
amongst people since many people could find it easy to meet their targeted consumers of the
products they produced. This shows advancement in the technology that occurred.

At the beginning of the 1920s, the American troops who were still at war were returning
from European countries after the First World War, where they came to their families, jobs, and
acquaintances. Majority of the soldiers had never visited their homes before the war, and their
encounter had transformed their point of view of life surrounding them. The picture below shows

Considering the political factors, the war transformation in the way of ruling and formation
of organizations aimed to promote peace and coexistence and seek solutions for the conflicts
taking place for an extended period. This was essential because leaders from different parts of
the world had to come together to sign peace treaties to prevent the occurrence of the same war
