YOUR RESPONSE
The first discussion skill is “prepare” which is the most important
thing because someone will not be able to contribute to a
discussion when they are not well-prepared. Second is “observe”
by observing the other students in how they are participating. The
third one is “listen”. Focus on what the others speak and try to
understand and find the main topic and point hence it is not the
same as your opinions. Lastly is “participate”, you have to
participate in the discussion whether in a small way by questioning
or agreeing.
Academic discussion is an organized conversation about a specific
topic that all the participants have been studying. Academic
discussions can be done properly by applying all four discussion
skills which is “prepare”, preparing yourself about the topic and
the point you think great, “observe”, observe the discussions and
the participations of the others, “listen”, listen every point by the
other participants and “participate” by joining the discussions with
your points. Besides, you can use some expressions to make your
talk more beautiful.
I choose student C because in his point, he clearly disagrees with
the other point with reasonable points and examples. He seems
well-prepared with his ideas and judgement. From the discussions,
student c does not just blindly disagree with the others point but
he comes with the facts of aspects of the word “convenient”, he
said there are many aspects and factors of it and explain clearly.
Besides, student C still accepts the others' point although he is
disagreeing.

As a matter of fact, I will not stop learning because there is

no end in learning something new whether in academic or
life. I will continue to learn by someone's experiences and
expertises to become brilliant.

Well, if you ask me I will say that it is not because there are

FOR EFFECTIVE in my opinion, a good way to increase vocabulary is by

new words and how they use them. someone will be

the internet or else.

If you want my honest opinion, I'd say vocabulary. This is

because someone cannot talk or participate in
conversations without knowing what to say in the first
place. having good grammar but lack of vocabulary will put
you in a blank.
