PROPOSAL FOR MODEL 3

For Vehicle Owners

INTRODUCTION

Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the world’s transition into sustainable energy. Developed in
2003 by a group of engineers, Tesla makes only electric vehicles, which allows them to only use
clean energy generation and storage products. In 2017, the Model 3 was released by Tesla.
Tesla has been questioned on the Model 3 in regard to product quality issues. At Tesla, we are
committed to improving the customer experience through convenience, accuracy of orders, and
timely outcomes.

Proposal
Tesla is pleased to submit this proposal for services to support vehicle owners in
achieving its goals for improving customer satisfaction by continuing testing and post-
sales support for all orders.

 Need #1: improve response time for customer questions

 Need #2: improve upon weaknesses in cosmetic design and safety issue concerns of exterior
 Need #3: pinpoint safety issues before release date

Limitations

 Limitation #1: Offer Tesla Forum to old and new customers for questions. That being said, more skilled
employees are needed to answer Tesla Forum questions
 Limitation #2: All Tesla factories need to use the same equipment when producing exterior components. That
being said, factory may need to be closed for inspection of equipment

  Limitation #3: New integrated technology must be developed to diagnose issues prior to release date. All
vehicles must be diagnosed on the technical aspect, along with the cosmetic exterior.

QUALIFICATIONS
Tesla is continually proven to be an industry leader for high quality/guaranteed product/service in the following ways:

 The Model 3 has passed all standard safety features

 Experience is enhanced and features the newest technology
 Tesla dominates electric vehicle sales in the U.S with the Model 3

RESEARCH
 The 2021 Tesla Model 3 is the hottest all-electric vehicle on the market
 Tesla Forums are now easily accessible directly through the Tesla website
o The website is user-friendly
o The site can direct you to the Model 3 Forum quickly and easily to ask/answer any and all
questions
 The metal structure of the vehicle is made of aluminum and steel, for maximum strength in every area
(Tesla, 2021)
 The Model 3 has all of the standard safety features
o “Safety is the most important part of the overall Model 3 design” (Tesla, 2021)
o “In a roof-crush test, Model 3 resisted four times its own mass, even with an all-glass roof” (Tesla
2021)
 Experience for the owner of the vehicle is enhanced due to the newest technology features
o Features include games and certain modes, such as “Romance Mode”

CONCLUSION
The technology found in the Model 3 is new and innovative. That being said, reliability for new technology has been
questioned prior to the release of this model. Despite claims, there has not been any significant problems with the
Model 3 except minor exterior issues. Current owners of the 2021 Model 3 have not made any significant complaints
against the reliability of the vehicle and seem to be satisfied with it completely. All complaints have been addressed.
