1. Product Introduction
AUTENF Auto Body Frame Machine is designed for repair and maintenance of small and medium size vehicles. It is
easy to install and operate. High quality materials and special design insures its long life span and low mal-function
rate.

2. Transportation
2.1- Please put wood block under the equipment during transportation;
2.2- The equipment must be fixed during transportation to prevent unnecessary damage;
2.3- All moveable parts, such as towers, should be fixed during transportation;
2.4- No sharp goods are allowed to be loaded on surface of the equipment;
2.5- The equipment cannot be transported together with flammable or erosive goods;
2.6- Prevent the equipment from water or being exposed to rain during transportation;
2.7- Loading capacity of the transporting vehicle cannot be less than 3.5 tons;
2.8- Loading and unloading of the equipment
Please use crane or forklift to load and unload the equipment. With crane, please position all steel wire wir ropes evenly
around the equipment to get balance; with forklift, please place the forks to maximum distance and at balancing
positions.
•Note: Lifting capability of forklift must be no less than 3 tons, and its fork length should be at least 1.6 m.

3. Installation
3.1- Place requirement
Minimum space for AUTENF bench is 4 m×8 m smooth concrete ground.

3.2- Layout of the equipment
Move the equipment to proper place. Moveable leg and loading ramps should face to the entrance. Leave enough
space around the equipment to move the towers and operate the equipment.

3.3- Installation of the tower chain
Insert the chain end without hook through the pulley upwardly and lock it by tower head lock.

4. Driving on & off


4.1- Operation of the accessories
Dead car dolly: itt will be used under wheels when one or more wheels are damaged after accident. A jack is
necessary to raise the vehicle in this circumstance.

4.2- Drive-on operation
1) Clean up all sundries under and above the bench;
2) Connect the air pump with air pipe,
pe, and connect the quick coupler of the air pump to the quick coupler of the
cylinder on the moveable leg;

3) Press the footplate of the air pump to raise the equipment;

4) After moveable leg leaves the ground, pull the locking pin out, draw the moveable leg in, and press the
footplate again to unload the pressure. The platform will touch the ground stably;

5) Position the loading ramp, and drive the car onto the equipment, or draw the car (in parking state) onto the
equipment by electric winch;
6) Press the footplate to lift the equipment, lay down the moveable leg, and lock the moveable leg pin tightly;
7) Press the footplate again, and the moveable leg will touch the ground stably.
4.3- Drive-off operation
1) Clean up all sundries under and above the bench;
2) Connect the air pump with air pipe, and connect the quick coupler of the air pump to the quick coupler of the
cylinder on the movable leg;
3) Press the footplate to add pressure, the equipment will rise;
4) After movable leg leaves ground, pull the locking pin out, and draw the movable leg in;
5) Press the footplate again to unload the pressure. The platform will touch the ground stably;
6) Get the ramp ready, drive the car off the equipment, or draw it down.

5. Vehicle anchoring
5.1- Introduction
With an edge at the bottom, AUTENF clamp is suitable for most of the unibody vehicles. It has large meshing area to
be fixed tightly onto platform, which stands large pulling power and assures safety of the pulling work.

5.2- Vehicle anchoring on the equipment
1) Put four clamps onto the bench under anchoring points of the vehicle, and adjust the clamps to same height;
2) Raise vehicle to a certain height with a rolling scissor jack or other similar jack;

3) Loosen the bolts on clamps, and position the opening at anchoring points of the vehicle one by one;
4) Lower the vehicle edges into clamp top and tighten the bolts;
5) Fix the clamp fixing block onto clamp socket.

6. Operation
6.1- Movement of the pulling tower
Loosen the tower bolt and pull out the tower pins, move the pulling tower around the equipment slowly to the
pulling position, anchor it with the tower bolt solidly and insert the tower pin.

6.2- Pulling operation
1) Adjust the tower collar onto a suitable height;
2) Select correct pulling tools and anchor it to the vehicle body, where needs to be repaired;
3) Connect the pulling chain to the pulling tool; adjust length and direction of the chain to get every section into a
line;
4) Make sure the other end of the chain is locked on the tower;
5) Press air pump to work.
NOTE:
1) Please make sure the pulling tower has been fastened firmly to platform before pulling operation;
2) When the chain is getting tight, please loosen the tower collar before continuing to pull (Fig.7-4);
3) Please do not make inclined or reverse pulling, or the outer track and wheels of the tower may get damaged;
4) The safety rope must be used to prevent the pulling tools flying out during operation. One end should be
connected to the pulling tool; and the other end can be connected to the bench or vehicle. It is a kind of protection
to the operator.
6.3- Cautions of the overhead puller
6.3.1 The puller should face to the equipment. Do not use it in sidelong or reverse;
6.3.2 The pulling chain must get through the tower collar, pulley, then the pull parts or else. Do not pull the parts
ONLY by getting through the pulley on the over head puller;
6.3.3 Do not exceed the capacity on each hole of the over head puller during pulling operation;
6.3.4 Overhead puller can ONLY repair the sheet metal on top of the vehicle. Please do not repair other area with
large rigidity, like A post or driver’s area;
6.3.5 AUTENF will not be responsible for any damage or injury to human beings caused by wrong operation.

7. Safety precautions
7.1- Inspection before operation
7.1.1. Be sure to wear working clothes and gloves when you are in the working area; no slipper or high-heel shoes;
7.1.2. Please clean the working area before operating the machine, keep all sundries away from the equipment, tidy
up the oil and air pipes to avoid pipeline extrusion;
7.1.3. Check connection condition of all joints on the oil and air pipeline. Please change a new one if any leakage;
7.1.4. Replace the hydraulic oil of the pump after working three months. Please use high quality anti-grind hydraulic

oils such as G-46, Gulf-46, Mobil-30, BP-32, Shell-32, Esso-32, Caltex-32, etc. Open the oil tank when changing the oil,
clean out all of the sundries in the bottom;
7.1.5. Make sure there is no dust and water in air supply of the oil pump. The oil-water separator should be installed
on the air pipe. The filter core of the separator should be changed after working three months. The rated air pressure
should be stable between 0.6 MPa to 0.65 MPa. The water should be vented out before working, especially in
summer;
7.1.6. Inspect the anchoring bolts of the tower roller; make sure all bolts are tightened well;
7.2- Regulations of driving on & off
7.2.1. Someone should stand by to guide the operation during up and down of the equipment; no other people are
allowed to stand by the equipment at same time;
7.2.2. The vehicle should be stopped at the appointed position;
7.2.3. Operate the driving on & off stably;
7.2.4. The tower should be firmly fixed at the other end of the equipment to prevent slide during up and down of the
equipment. Put the rolling scissor jack near to the moveable leg;
7.2.5. The vehicle onto the equipment should be in the parking state. Put some triangular wood blocks in front and
rear of the wheels. Do not stand behind the car;
7.2.6. Be sure that the safety legs are fully locked by the blocks at the base;
7.3- Regulations of the anchoring the vehicle
7.3.1. Inspect the clamp top and clean up the smears and sundries;
7.3.2. Be sure there is no distortion and cracks on the clamps;
7.3.3. Tighten the anchoring bolts of the clamps before pulling;
7.4- Regulations of pulling operation
7.4.1. Operators should be fully trained before any pulling operation;
7.4.2. Inspect the chain, pulling tools and pulling ring before pulling. Make sure there are no cracks or damages on
them;
7.4.3. Tighten the tower anchoring bolts during pulling. Do not position the tower collar above the red precaution
line;
7.4.4. Move the towers by pushing instead of pulling;
7.4.5. Do not exceed the rated capacity of the pulling tools during pulling;
7.4.6. Do not touch the pulling tools and chain during pulling;
7.4.7. Do not stand in the line with the forced direction of the chain;
7.4.8. Anchor the vehicle with chain at the opposite direction of pulling power when doing great pulling;
7.4.9. Clean up the ground after working stops;
7.4.10. Do not repair any part of the hydraulic system by yourself when there is problem; do not adjust the overflow
valve by yourself. Please contact AUTENF when problems occur.
7.5- Regulations of measurement operation (optional)
7.5.1. Take the measuring tools on and off carefully. Do not clash to avoid the distortion and damage.
7.5.2. The eyesight should parallel to the measuring numbers during reading.
7.5.3. Put the measuring tools back after measurement.
7.5.4. If the bolts of the measuring tools loosen, re-fasten them with proper strength.

8. Maintenance
8.1- Maintenance of the equipment and accessories
8.1.1. Keep the equipment clean without smears. Keep it away from corrosive things;
8.1.2. Do not hammer the equipment to affect the level;
8.1.3. Please lubricate the rotated parts timely such as tower rolling roller, fixed leg, moveable leg, etc.
8.1.4. Inspect the bolts and spring clips of the tower roller and legs regularly. Tighten or replace them if there is any

problem.
8.2- Maintenance of the hydraulic system
8.2.1. Keep hydraulic system in clean environment. Do not pile up unnecessary sundries;
8.2.2. Air supply of the oil pump should be out of dust and water. An oil & water separator should be installed. The
air pressure is between 0.5 MPa to 0.8 MPa;
8.2.3. Keep hydraulic parts away from dust, clippings and caustic liquids. Tidy up with clean cloth. Do not drag the oil
pump on ground. Protect the oil meter;
8.2.4. Inspect the hydraulic circuit and make sure there is no oil leak-out, the joint is not loosening. Please change if
there is damage;
8.2.5. Inspect the oil volume timely. Replace hydraulic oil of the pump after three months’ working;
8.2.6. When the joints of the hydraulic system are not in use, please put the anti-dust rubber cap on (Fig. 9-1);
8.2.7. Oil pump or cylinder should be repaired by professional technicians;
8.3- Maintenance of the pulling tools & accessories
8.3.1. Keep the teeth of all clamps clean;
8.3.2. Do not knock on the pulling tools and chain during pulling;
8.3.3. Pay attention to the hydraulic oil meter during pulling. Do not exceed the rated capacity of any tool;
8.3.4. Keep all pulling tools away from corrosive liquid;
8.3.5. After working, please clean all pulling tools with clean cloth. Put them in the tools cart in order;
8.4- Maintenance of measuring tool (optional)
8.4.1. Take the measuring tools carefully. Do not crash it with hard object;
8.4.2. Keep the measuring tool away from corrosive liquid;
8.4.3. When the bolts of the measuring tools loosen, re-fasten them with proper strength;
8.4.4. Put the measuring tools back to the tools cart. Do not put it with other tools;
