1. In addition to the normal obstacles of starting a business, what other barriers do
collegiate entrepreneurs face?
2. What advantages do collegiate entrepreneurs have when launching a business?
3. What advice would you offer a fellow college student about how to start a business?
4. Work with a team of your classmates to develop ideas about what your college or
university could do to create a culture of entrepreneurship on your campus or in your
community.

ANSWERS

1. Barriers collegiate entrepreneurs face:


i. Lack of contact and collaboration with corporate executives and unable to
interpret business patterns ·
ii. Lack of strategy, communication, promotion, organizational, fundamental
management, team building and leadership capacity.
iii. People are reluctant to trust in the youth because of the cultural aspect. Older
businessmen are reluctant to trust in collegiate entrepreneurs and do not
provide them with funding.
iv. As the structure of Nepal, running the company in college life is very
complicated, we have to graduate in a certain time, and there is an obligation
to pass the college with a good degree. The study can be interrupted if you are
concentrating on the market.
v. Its take a long time to build worth in goods and it requires more patient and
don’t we have. There are not enough opportunities for collegiate
entrepreneurs. ·
vi. The mentoring and support environment for collegiate entrepreneurs is
missing.
vii. We require financial resources to start up the company and they are not
earned from college entrepreneurs. Due to financial constraints, we are unable
to manage our own company. What if the corporation is bankrupt, there is no
financial assistance, and there is no contingency plan?

2. Advantage collegiate entrepreneur have when launching a business:


i. We read the three distinct forms of company that a college entrepreneur began
in their college life as we go through the event. They figure out what they are
facing and they started their own company to tackle this dilemma.
ii. When a college entrepreneur starts their own company, they will first gain
help from their colleagues and friends.
iii. It assists in their growth in the functional area and their ability to apply
theoretical knowledge in practice. That's going to make their own company
expand.
iv. Via the college channel, collegiate entrepreneurs will be able to establish
strong contact and collaboration with other companies and suppliers.
v. Some of the college will provide their college entrepreneur with financial
assistance. As a result, college entrepreneurs will benefit.
vi. By giving free consultancy tips and encouraging them to develop a business
strategy, the college supports them.
vii. The collegiate entrepreneur will keep up with the new technologies and use it
to run a profitable company with little risk and little capital.

3. Advice to a collegiate entrepreneur starting a business:


i. Until they start their own company, I recommend that they do an internship at
a business that will help them learn the business process and consumer
demand.
ii. The collegiate entrepreneur must choose a company that is consistent with
their experience and desires.
iii. Until beginning a company, market analysis and a consumer demand survey
should be performed.
iv. To reduce the challenge of confusion, the collegiate developer must
implement his strategy in the real world, and they must make a sound
business plan.
v. They must have a decent relationship with the businessman involved. And the
lecture and preparation course must be attended.
vi. If they have in mind to do, they must first examine what they have, how much
money is needed, and how much resources are available to satisfy demand.
vii. As a result, I suggest that a college entrepreneur do an internship in a similar
business area to learn more about it. Who knows, maybe a collegiate student
would open a similar or even more innovative enterprise in the future.

4. Ideas to develop entrepreneurship culture in my University:


i. The university, like other colleges, could create an Entrepreneur Development
Center (EDC) on campus, where interested students could rent an office to
run their own company and do brainstorming.
ii. A tutor for the desired student can be given by the university. The university
will help create a network of businesspeople.
iii. The university would enable global entrepreneurs and wealthy businessmen
and teachers to express their views and opinions. It's the entrepreneur's
driving force and we should learn more from them.
iv. There is a separate entrepreneur course in which everyone is expected to write
their own business plan.
v. The university can give the student a range of services. This provides free
wireless access, a separate meeting space, computing equipment, and other
resources required.
vi. The university can try to develop a culture of entrepreneurship at the
university. They will provide the assistance needed by collegiate
entrepreneurs and serve as facilitators.
