Entrepreneurs are the heart of the growing startup culture all around the world. Considering
this fact, the team proposes to design and run an entrepreneurship development/ grooming

development of the entrepreneurs who are aspiring to build a startup. Few topics which can be
covered in this program are

Monetizing this program. Studying various E-cells around the country and considering the fact that cell
requires funds for various activities, we propose to monetize the Entrepreneurship development
program to generate finance for the E-CELL. From the study team found that various courses throughout
the country ranges from Rupees 450 to Rupees 18000. We recommend that the course we will offer
should be around Rupees 1000. At this price point there will be high probability that large number of
audience will be engaged with this course and we will be able to provide good quality content for the
viewers.

 Basic recommendations
1. It should be conducted live with Q&A session for the students.
2. Students from various colleges should be approached for better engagement and high startup
idea development. (Further explained in project 2)
3. Honorarium should be paid to the speakers.
4. The course should be started as soon as possible 2 nd week of September to be specific.

Project2 - Startup Growth Program.

The main objective of any E-cell is to grow start-up culture, promote and nurture them into successful
entities. Continuing with the same objective, team is planning to incubate around 20 to 30 Start-ups
which can be from various industries and work on their basic problems. Solutions to their problems can
be provided from various mentors and specially designed programs for them. This can be clubbed with
an in-house competition among the incubated start-ups to help them achieve their goals and challenge
them to achieve given targets. This will create a sense challenge and help the startups to be on the same
level of the other which will be helpful in the closing stages. The stages of competition are mentioned
below. (This stages are a rough plan just for consideration).

1. Initial idea evaluation and sorting

2. BMC development
3. Idea validation
4. Team building
5. Product development
6. Marketing strategy building (Social media & Website)
7. Startup culture and ecosystem development
8. Financial model planning
9. MVP finalization.
10. Initial sales pitch and first sale.
11. Incubation pitch development.
12. Competition finals (Pitch to Incubators) (Voyage 2022)

 Basic recommendation
1. 20-30 Start-ups should be incubated for wide range of ideas and healthy competition
2. Different incubators should be onboard for high incubation chances and effective judgement.
3. Incubators should be ready to provide mentorship to the start-ups
4. Competition should end at Voyage 2022 as a separate event.
5. Competition should mainly focus on effective implementation of learnings
6. The Program began after the first half of Entrepreneurship development program to incubate
ideas from course students.

Project 3- As per the guidance from the faculty team is proposing to work collaboration with NGO’s
who focus on development of under privileged students/workers/business owners and work on
entrepreneurship development among these groups. The main objective should be to work on growth of
under privileged groups and inculcating entrepreneurship among them. The various topics which can be
covered are

1. Bootstrapping
2. Smart investment
3. Accounting and financing
4. Business development
5. Job creation and administration
6. Basics Sales and Marketing

For school student’s various entrepreneurship class can be conducted which will motivate and guide
them about entrepreneurship and startup culture. Activities can be conducted in person for better
understanding and considering the fact that the group may not have access to online connectivity.

The training imparted to the needy by the NGOs can be classified into three broad types:

1. Stimulation
2. Counselling
3. Assistance

Difficulties faced by the NGOs-

- People not being open minded about the concept

- Inadequate amount of trainers and educators
- Anti- business approach used by people in rural areas for decades
- Not all NGOs are equipped to do this

Basic recommendation

1. Cell should focus on the educating under privileged community and majorly on school students
and working forces.
2. Cell should consider taking help for college teaching staff for effective and exert teaching.
3. Focus should be majorly on skill development, business growth and employment generation.
4. The NGO with which the cell will work should be basically focusing on education and skill
development.
