Directions: In no more than five (5) sentences, answer the following questions. (3 items x 10
points)

1. Recall some of your defining moments in the formation of your moral character. Did it
change your personality as well as your outlook on life? How?
2. What do you think will happen to our country if our youth will be lacking the necessary
moral ascendancy? Can we still rely on them as the hope of our motherland? Explain
your answer.
3. Explain the relationship between individual acts and character.

ANSWER:

1. The Defining moment that forms my moral character is the time that I achieved the
leadership award because I realized that I can do more and I can be a leader someday.
Because of that I change my perspective I need to be responsible for my own good and
continuing to pursue my dreams.
2. Moral Ascendancy is very important in our environment, because it gives an equality,
peaceful and balanced life. The moral value of the youth will be slowly faded. If the
youth will be lacking in moral ascendancy the peace, respect, honesty and righteousness.
But even though if the youth will be lacking in moral ascendancy, we can still rely on
them as the hope of our motherland.
3. Character cannot be separated from the individual (person). Good character means that
one’s habits, actions, and emotional responses all are united and directed toward the
moral and the good. Both sets of actions affect one’s character. Not only do actions
reflect the goodness or badness of one’s character, one’s actions also change one’s
character.
