Directions: Read the moral dilemmas carefully and answer the questions therein. (3 items x 10 points)

1. Mariella has been offered to judge in a variety show. She is very excited because it was her
dream. Unfortunately, it is terribly unfair to other contestants because her sister is part of the
show and will perform on the day that she will judge. Should she accept the offer and allow
herself to benefit from an unfair situation or think about the other contestants?

Mariella should allow herself to accept the offer to be the judge in a variety show. Not
only because that is her dream but also, that is a lifetime experience. But, in accepting that offer
she should have a fair characteristic within herself. No matter what her sister is part of the show
she must consider the other contestants. Not simply because her sister is one of the contestants
means she should win her sister, but she should base her assessment on what she sees about
the contestants' performances if they pass the standards.

2. Ericka was supposed to tell a certain guy that her best friend had a crush on him. Instead, she
ended up hooking up with the guy. And to make matters worse, she lied to her friend about it.
Should Ericka keep on lying to her friend or just continue her relationship with the guy? What's
she supposed to do?
Ericka should confess the truth to both her best friend and her boyfriend. They'll still
know it at the end of the day, so tell them the truth while you still have the chance. Because one
of the ways to make a friendship last is, to be honest with each other. To minimize further
confrontation, everyone should know the facts as soon as possible.

3. You are stumped on an important ethics test and you have the perfect opportunity to cheat
without getting caught. What will you do and how will you explain your decision?

A person that has a moral and knowledge within me and a person who believes in doing
the right thing will do the right thing, I must do the right thing whatever happens. Even though I
had the perfect opportunity to cheat, I would not do so. I'm taking an ethics test, which refers to
a set of moral concerns or elements (such as rightness). If I did cheat, the ethics test I took would
be pointless because cheating is not an ethical behavior or part of moral characteristics. So, I
wouldn't cheat. I'd be happy with any test score as long as I gave it my all.
