Transition To Next Lesson:

1. Dizzy Ball
-Have students line up in their two teams along the far left end of the field (while looking at the
esso).
-The first student in line must run and touch the goal post.
-When they return, they must put their forehead on a baseball bat, put their head down and spin
in around 5 times.
-Another student on their team must then throw them a ‘soft ball’ which they need to hit toward
the goal posts
-the Next player must run to the goal post and grab the ball along the way.
-When this player returns they will then spin around the bat 5 times… Repeat

Tournament Instructions:
-Students will get into groups of 4. They must have 2 representative from each team (2 from the
Blue Team and one From the Red Team)

Beanbag Toss
-Students will take turns throwing bean bags at the targets.
-The goal is to achieve the most points by the time the time runs out

Four Square

 Server (King) must put one foot behind the service line
 Everyone must Hit UNDERHAND
 Ball must bounce ONCE and only ONCE in your square before your strike it (including on the
serve)
 If someone makes a mistake you rotate up and that person goes to the back of the line (outside the #1
square)

Spike Ball
-To begin, teams line up across from each other with the Spikeball new or roundnet in between them. The serving
team hits the ball into the net towards the opposing team. The goal on the serve is to hit the ball towards the
opposing team in a manner where they cannot return it. If they cannot return the serve then the serving team gets a
point. Each team is allowed up to 3 touches in order to return the ball into the net. It is not required that you hit the
ball all 3 times. Each time the ball hits the net possession switches to the other team. The rally or volley continues
until one team cannot return the ball into the net. Spikeball uses rally scoring, so points can be won by either team
regardless of who is serving. Games must be won by 2 points.
Cornhole
- In team play one player from Team A and one player from Team B lineup next to each board. Bags are tosses
alternating from one team to the next. One player from team A tosses a bag and then one player from team B tosses
a bag until all 4 bags have been tossed. When all the bags have been thrown for that round, points are totaled and the
next round begins from the opposite cornhole board with the opposing partners taking turns tossing their bags.
Determine the team who throws first by a coin toss and every round after that, the first throw goes to the team that
won the previous round. Rounds continue until one of the teams reaches 21 points or more.
- Three points are awarded when a bag goes through the hole, one point is earned if the bag lands on the box.

KanJam

 The only games the students have yet to play are Kanjam, Yardsbee, and one of the bean
bag games.
 They are expected to solve point conflicts on their own. They have been doing a good
job of this so far.
