PROCEDURE
Introduction (_2_min.):
*Remind students of assignments: I do not check them for them! Intramurals! Spirit Week
Expectations for Learning and Behaviour: Have the students explain Kinball.
Advance Organizer/Agenda: Teams on team shake
Warm up: Use activities as warm-up
Body (_80_min.):
Learning Activity #1: “Relay” (We now only have 1 ball)
Instructions: Have the students lay down in a straight line. The ball cannot touch the ground and students need to
remain on their backs. The goal is to get the ball to the end and back. If it hits the floor, they restart.
Learning Activity #2: Temple Run
Instructions: 2 circles, one inside of the other facing each other. Start with 2 balls. One is the chaser and one the chase (1-2
rounds to understand the activity. Then use students as the chassee. Use volunteers until they run out.
Learning Activity #3: Octopus Tag
Instructions: Everyone starts lined up on the end line. 2 people will start in the middle as “it” with the omnikin balls.
When everyone is lined up, the players will yell out and everyone needs to run to the other end and try not to get hit by the
ball. If they are hit, they need to stand where they are and they can tag runs who pass them within arms reach. If they
move, have them sit down.
