doing for lesson
● Lead students outside

~ 30min Body: ●
 I will have students run a warm up lap around
the outdoor field to begin the lesson
 I will then remind students of speedball and ask
about what they remember and if they
remember the rulesof the game
 Inform students we will begin with some drills
starting off with monkey in the middle, we have
around 5 soccer balls so I will have students get
into groups and they have to pass the ball with
the same rules as speedball and switch the
person in the middle
 We will then begin by working on passing drills
 I will have 4 pylons set up with 4 balls
 I will have students line up with a partner and I
will send them to a pylon once all of the
students are set up at a pylon I will explain the
drill
 Students will be standing at a pylon but I will
then have students stand apart making two
smaller lines across from eachother so they can
pass back and forth and we will pass back and
forth working on our kick up of the ball
 Making sure they get their toe underneath the
ball and making a pass that can be accepted by
the other students hands
 They will control the ball and then pass back
with the same technique
 These will also be the teams for speed ball
 After the drill I will hand out pinnies
 I will blow my whistle and let students know
we will be moving into games
 There are 4 teams I will show each team one at
a time where they will be playing
 The students can begin the 2 games and I will
be watching and providing feedback
 I will blow my whistle and switch teams for
playing

 The goal will be for all 4 teams to play against
each other team
 I will then wrap up the games and have
students gather in by me to talk about the
games

where I am and we will discuss how speed ball
went and what skills we learned
● I will complete fist to five to ask how much fun
they had and if the drills they learned translated
into the games
● From here I will bring students inside and let them
go change for their next period
