A social interaction is an association between two or more people and is a building block
of society. We may also social exchange between groups two or more groups. In this topic
we will delve deeper into this issue to see social interaction in relation to self-concept.

Social interaction refers to the dignity or distinction attributed to one's place in society. It may also
apply to a rank or role in a group, such as son or daughter, playmate, pupil, and so on. There are
various ways of assessing one's social status. Through one's own accomplishments one may gain
one's social status; this is known as achieved status.Alternatively, one can inherit one 's position on
the social hierarchy; that's known as the status ascribed. An ascribed status, including sex, race,
and socioeconomic background, can also be defined as one that is fixed for a person at birth.Social
status is most commonly understood as a melding of the two status forms, with status ascribed
affecting the status obtained. For instance, a baby born into a high-income household has the high
socioeconomic status of his family as an acquired rank, and is more likely to be exposed to
resources such as a family focus on education that will make it more possible for him or her to
attend an elite university. Consequently, admission is a status achieved that was heavily influenced
by the resources made available by the rank ascribed to the individual. However Self-concept is
generally characterized as the collection of images, thoughts and feelings that a person has about
himself / herself, in a general way. It is essential because it affects how we're thinking, feeling and
behaving in daily life. Understanding the self-concept is very important for people because self-
knowledge lets us understand why they are doing the things they are doing and how their values
and actions are influencing themselves, others and the company for better and worse. Of course,
the self-concept is just one of many reasons influencing managerial thought, emotion, and actions,
but it is the most influencing behavior we have. In contrary Social interaction and self-concept
affects each other because our experiences with others will influence our sense of self. Since
social interaction created the culture this helps us define how individuals see themselves and how
they relate to others. Through social interaction our sense of self may vary ,our identities can also
change depending on the time and place as we involve which makes us mature over our lifetimes.
Relationships, parenting and other activities in our lives can help shape our identities.

The self-concept of an entity undergoes significant changes during growth, in exposure to social interaction
which evolves our self concept in various form depending on the environment  .

In short, the development of the self-concept over a person's life span is subject to several influencing
factors.__________________________________________________________________________________
